I'm sorry but Alden need to calm tf down... did he forget where he came from? He was with negan before Jesus made them surrender... yes he decided to stay at hilltop but what about gamma? Gamma started off with alpha and was being fed bs just like Alden was being fed bs from Simon and negan... sometimes people decide to run with the people they feel can protect them or sometimes they just can't help where they come from like Lydia but everybody chose where they wanna be so alden really need to calm down

idk why yall blame maggie for all this happening when everything u mentioned was explained in the show. the communities falling apart came from rick’s “death” and michonne not wanting to come together after losing rick and being betrayed by her longtime friend when hilltop and the kingdom were trying hard to rebuild that union with everyone back up. hilltop had leaderships in fact they had two tara and jesus but we lost both of them to the whisperers which is in no way maggies fault. the bridge being blown up there was no way for them to rebuild that bridge. at the end of the day maggie never got justice during the savior arc and with rick gone she wanted to branch out and start something new which she has all the right

My point being the bridge being blown up in the first place was absolutely Maggie‘s fault & Daryls. And I never said she didn’t have a right to leave, but the fact that the community has gone to shit since she left (which was shortly after they lost Rick) and she has barely checked in with anybody is pretty selfish. It’s just poor writing considering how much they toted her being all about family & coming together & her decision to act on that was literally abandoning all of the people she’d been with from the beginning to run off with her kid & a bunch of strangers on some mysterious pipe dreams. And no one has ever said that she needs to forget what happened to Glenn. I just think it’s wild that Negan has been more helpful to them all in those 6 years than she has 🤷🏻‍♂️

He wasn’t initially a virgin because they had it written and I’m fairly certain filmed during season eight that him and Laura actually hooked up when everything was falling apart at the sanctuary after Daryl busted the wall open, but they ended up cutting it out. the bridge blowing up was ricks doing not maggies or daryls rick sacrificed himself nobody forced his hand. maggie was already showing signs that she felt drifted away from our main group since rick decided to let negan live which wasnt his decision to make like u said if they were all family and a union that decision shouldve been everyones choice. saying maggie is selfish for leaving is also insane wheres the outrage for daryl who left throughout those 6 years as well looking for rick? where is the outrage rn for michonne up and leaving alexandria and her kids? or rick for purposely sacrificing himself on that bridge knowing he had a family? maggie is the reason hilltop was still standing in the first place without her gregory would still be alive

If the bridge was not blown up in the way that it was, everybody would be dead right now and there’s no question about that. The herd was large enough to wipe out all of the communities so that was pretty much the only choice or let all the communities fall and run away.

All I’m saying is that if she ever comes back, she has lost most all of her “pull” or privileges seeing as she has been gone from them more than 3x the length of time she was with them & essentially left them all hanging out to dry 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, I never once said I hate her. I’m taking issue with her & Daryl letting the whole Oceanside delayed executions take place & simultaneously causing Rick to end up being forced to blow up the bridge to save all their communities B/C of her & Daryl creating their own troubled scenarios with countless snowballs. Maggie & Daryl getting Rick stuck in the hole prevented him from being at the camp to assist in defusing the tension & avoiding gunfire. Gunfire which drew the herds on the path through all their communities. It is undeniable that causing those herds to make their way towards their homes IS Daryl & Maggie’s fault. They HAD a system, they were slowly integrating saviors into the work force building a bridge that EVERYONE could use to bring trade through all their communities in turn giving ALL of them their best chance to be thriving! Michonne without a shadow of a doubt hurt their attempts at trying to stay afloat by cutting off all her friends while she was STILL HOME! Nothing wrong with her wanting to shut the doors to STRANGERS for a little while. But their FRIENDS & FAMILY??! Absolutely NOT justified either. Maggie abandoned Hilltop BEFORE that happened & then Tara & Jesus the pacifists didn’t push to get things rolling, but I have a feeling Maggie would’ve pushed to keep Michonne & Aaron & OG Alexandrians in the fold at the bare minimum. But no. She left them all to fend for themselves when they were at arguably their most fragile state since before arriving at Alexandria in the first place. Whether she wanted to just go off on a road trip & try and start fresh or not, it is pretty shitty to leave all your friends & family in times of strife, struggle & peril to just go try and start some new groups etc. I am saying that MAGGIE would’ve been a better leader than Tara & Jesus & in turn would’ve prevented some of the problems they’ve had over the years

the whisperers arc was gonna happen regardless tho hilltop was still in contact with maggie through letters she sent jesus and tara saying maggie shouldnt have went out to help other communities when that was part of her character idk why it suprises u that she wanted to build other communities for other people in need that should be the positive thing about this situation but u guys take it as maggie not caring about them anymore and leaving them to die they were all clearly fine still without maggie she wouldnt have done anything differently realistically these are grown adults who can all fend for themselves realistically maggie has every right to leave and do whatever she wanted to do we dont know when she wouldve came back but would it have even mattered we still had our best fighters at the end of the day

Why are y’all so bad at reading female characters 😩😩😩 Carol didn't want to be around Zeke anymore because he reminded her of Henry, when she sees him she thinks of their family....she was selfish in prioritizing her grief and neglecting Zeke who needed comfort and consoling, but I get it....in her mind she's already lost SO many children. Zeke doesn't seem to really have anyone else to lean on, meanwhile Carol has always had Daryl.

Carol and daryl have a bond that can’t be broke.. I think there is an attraction between them as carol use to flirt with him long ago. But their friendship comes first. They are truly best friends and want each other to be happy even if that’s with someone else. Carol is broken, she pushed Ezekiel away because it just reminds her of what she lost. I think there’s an attraction between daryl and Connie too. I still think carol loves Ezekiel shes just trying to push everyone away. Her goal is seeing alpha dead for taking away her fairytale really.

The lack of moats is honestly such a tactical misstep. Not even just for now but really from jump they should have set a moat or at least a series of trenches offset from the walls like 20-25 feet so that walkers or enemies would have to get through that before reaching the walls. This would have also prevented the tree from being an issue cause they would have cleared the whole area. I know nobody likes a backseat tactician but I can't help but think of the many advantages of having a big trench/moat dug would provide. They could also use that as a secondary defensive line just raining down arrows as enemies tried to get through it. Yes it's a big initial time and energy investment initially to do the digging but after that you have an excellent permanent passive defensive installation even if you leave the road untouched you create a funnel for everything trying to get in. Plus if they'd done this years ago they could have used their heavy machinery to do the digging. All communities that were not surrounded by asphalt should have some kind of moat if they have a wall. obviously oceanside wouldn't be able to make as good of use of them given the lack of walls but Alexandria and Hilltop could definitely do something.

For once I gotta disagree with Osafa the reason Eugene hadn't got home some chocolate yet is because he was hung up on rosita and would likely reject any other woman in order to preserve that opportunity in case rosita would one day change her mind and now that she has made it clear to him that its never gonna happen thats why he is open to the radio junt if it wasn't her it would have been another woman in one of the camps between him hating on Eugene and king Zeke catching strays Osafa was on one this episode for sure

But I know y'all get confused on pregnancies since y'all had Maggie pregnant for over a year when you were thinking they'd been dealing with Negan for over a year when she hadn't even had her baby yet lmao
