My sister was 8 months pregnant. We were walking in the backdoor (duplex) guy was hiding behind stairwell came out with bat, knocked me out and went after my sister. Kicked HER 8 MONTH BELLY, beat her with bat but she fought back and raced his face he ran. Cops didn't care or really look. If I'd run into him today, it would take my whole christianess not to get revenge. My nephew has mental problem because of that.

The prosecutor does not have to have victims or their families approval for a plea deal. 1:11:19 Adison knowing what's coming and trying to hold back while Brandon is completely clueless has me laughing for some reason.

The only way i can understand him having this skillset and not being able to protect his family or at least being cautious is maybe he was smart but recruited to use that to kill people after his family died. Different mentality after that event. Once he figured out he can kill people like that he started planning.

Law enforcement and legal professionals have a morbid sense of humor. Took a criminal justice course in college and the professor briefly talked about how they would make jokes at crime scenes and that’s their way of not allowing their minds to truly process the horrific events. I thought that was crazy, but I get it. Definitely not a profession for me.

No you don't need the victim's permission to go through with plea deals because technically, legally, in CRIMINAL cases, the victim isn't the "affected party." In criminal cases the affected party is SOCIETY and the government speaks for society. That's why it's the STATE vs [The Criminal] and not [The Victim] vs [The Criminal]. And prosecutors speaks for the state. So Prosecutors can sign off on plea deals even if the victim doesn't want it. Hell, prosecutors can full on drop cases even if the victim wants it to go to trial. The only time INDIVIDUALS can sign off on "plea deals" is when it's a CIVIL case aka [Personal or Company] vs [Person or Company], and then it's not called a plea deal, it's called a settlement.

A really good movie that's kind of similar to this is "A Time to Kill" with Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConaughey. Other "vengeance" movies - The Crow is a bit more artistic/fantasy-like, but it's also a vengeance story. It's also a cult classic because it starred Brandon Lee (son of Bruce Lee) and he died in the making of the film. The Count of Monte Cristo is one of the most famous vengeance stories/novels, and a good movie was made in 2002. Worth watching. Another good one is The Mask of Zorro from 1998, based on the well-known Zorro early 1900s pulp fiction novel character and main character in the TV series from 1950s. A really good Western revenge film is 1992's "Unforgiven" starring Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman, others.

Ok, only made it to the first few minutes and I'm so excited for this reaction! Yall are hilarious. First off, haha yes those are two different actors and the movies you referenced were legends in their time (as well as the actors in those roles), but came out a decent amount of time apart. Second, bruh I could schedule a package pickup that requires a signature in the middle of the day and I'm still not coming to the door like that. Not gonna scare the delivery person of course, but I'm peeping through at least a few viewpoints including cameras before I even get close to the door and I live in a comfy little suburb. When you mentioned how meticulous he is but still didn't have hands ready when his family was murdered, it reminded me of that IRA quote after their failed assassination attempt on the British Prime Minister: "We only have to be lucky once. You have to be lucky every time." No matter how careful, intelligent, or well-protected someone is, they have to get it right every single time to stay safe. But their enemies only need to succeed once. Eventually, the odds catch up and sometimes things just happen to work out in a way and create the exact environment for it to occur. Even one moment of vulnerability or bad luck is enough. Look at history.

By the way the only reason Clyde did t win in the end of this movie is because Jamie Foxx was throwing a temper tantrum on set about his character being killed off so the writers changed the ending to let him win but in my opinion this ending ruined the movie.
