But what do you expect them to do, they know she's a danger and she's in danger and they didn't have time to waste...you say they shouldn't have done that to Elgin but he was holding someone hostage! I get why people lose faith in Boyd but I also think he's constantly at a loss trying to keep everything together!

They could've followed him when he left... he was leaving when they stopped him on the steps... I guess it wouldve been better if he would've ignored the ghost lady and let fatima kill everyone including herself... she clearly had to be in the cellar to give birth to that monster... there's really no right answer to all of this but let's not forget Boyd kept it from everyone that fatima killed tilly... yes the monster made her do it but still... this is why boyd need to step down... he's very biased... he was ready to throw sarah in the box because she was listening to ghosts, he beat up that one guy that got drunk and left his family home alone, then he had a change of heart on that guy and Sarah, its too much... you cannot be biased while being a leader

I agree that you shouldn't be bias and he definitely is...he was wrong for not telling everyone who killed Tilly, maybe he should step down but who else is there? Tbh at this point if I was Boyd I would step down and let them figure it out because no 1 else is stepping up to lead apart from Acosta and who wants her in charge 🤣

Idk why but the music kinda scared me a little bit when I first watched the episode lol. And I agree with Brandon I think the monsters will be able to walk outside during the daytime now. Season 4 is gonna be crazy! But I really hope they come out with more answers cause some things still don't make sense... Great reaction as always 🫶🏿

The whole season was full of answers. We learned that Miranda and Christopher and Tabitha and Jade were/are reincarnation of an original pair dating back hundreds of years that had a daughter who they tried to save along with the other children in the town. Their daughter was possibly the young girl who kneeled with Tabitha while the melody was playing. The original townsfolk sacrificed their children because they were promised to live forever. Fatima tells Ellis and Kenny that the monsters are the original inhabitants who performed the ritual and sacrificed the children. The “original pair” failed to save the children for reasons unknown and based on what we know, they were eventually reborn with a connection to this town and a destined path to return (Miranda and Christopher and Jade and Tabitha being two examples of this cycle). The Boy in White and the dead children have been leading Jade and Tabitha to this moment. There are two paths, you either accept life, torment, and death in this town or you look for answers that might help you get home and/or connect the dots. Jade, Tabitha, and Jim didn’t do anything wrong by connecting some dots that provide insight into the mysteries of why they are trapped there. Jade and Tabitha were supposed to “remember”. They have been on a loop of different lives, maybe in cycles, trying to accomplish the same goal and have failed leading to the loop. We don’t know how many cycles they have been reincarnated, but we do know there was the original pair, Miranda and Christopher, and now Tabitha and Jade. Knowledge is powerful and the Man in Yellow would obviously not want Jade and Tabitha to remember anything about the past or connect the pieces to the origins of the town, of the monsters, and their roles in the story. We have seen him depicted in the paintings by Miranda. He, the Man in Yellow, is not one of the tunnel monsters. He seems to be a separate entity on a higher hierarchy than the monsters which explains his ability to come out during the day. Martin, whatever his role may be in this town, also said that there are worse things than the monsters that come out at night. As for Julie, the episode or two before and this one set up that she could travel back in time since she was the person who threw the rope to Boyd. Her hair was different because she is clearly Julie from the future “storywalking” to change the outcome of her dad being killed by the Man in Yellow.

that's not biased. he changed his mind with Sarah about using the Box. he had no reason to be biased with Sarah. he didn't want to put her in the Box because she could help them, so realised it was wrong for killing people when they've already got monsters killing people

But there is a right and wrong way to handle a situation and I don’t think anyone can excuse torture. There is a double standard with the way Boyd handled the situation. Sara killed multiple people, and tried to kill a child. Boyd’s protection of her led to the slight distance between him and Kenny. Fatima killed Tilly. Elgin’s actions are directly linked to the same evils that caused Sara and Fatima to commit their acts yet Sara is able to reintegrate back into the town while Fatima’s action is hidden from everyone. Yet Elgin somehow deserves to get his knuckles broken and a drill to his eye? This situation with Elgin can possibly lead to more questions about Boyd’s leadership and the town rightfully questioning if certain lives mean more than theirs. Multiple people have been on the outside in of Boyd’s excuses. The people in Colony House during the Elgin situation know how the town can manipulate and convince people that they are needed to get everyone home. The Donna conversation with Boyd about how the town feels about his decision with Sara could foreshadow how season four goes as far as Boyd is concerned now that there is another strong personality in the town in Acosta whose also been in a position of leadership. What happened to Elgin might make it where Acosta can become a voice in leadership.

Boyd has tried to protect the town and alot of times they don't wanna listen, he's not always bias ..he wanted sara to suffer for what she did to Kenny's family but didn't because she may be able to help get them home..he didn't want to put the first guy in the box and was willing to let him live in the woods with a talisman against the wishes of father Chadri and that guy weren't related to him! We don't know what's gonna happen with Elgin now, I think he will become the new Sara and just be left alone. Yes we know torture is bad but you are looking at things from a civilised society...we have no law enforcement, hospital,judge,jury..sometimes unfortunately violence is necessary. Of course everyone (regardless of what you say now) is going to be bias in a world like this, I would be but it's very easy to lay most blame on Boyd when he's the one making actual efforts to get out of this place

Jim never listening to people when they tell him things finally caught up to him :(. Unfortunate situation for Elgin, but I genuinely can’t figure out another way they could’ve got that information from him. Too many people are dying compared to the 1st season so the methods taken to protect loved ones are going to get worse realistically. Doubt there’s going to be much “law” or moral compass in the next season so that’ll be interesting to watch.

Does this mean folks gotta be scared in the daytime too? Cuz he was strolling about in his yellow suit thinking he looked all good in the daytime. I'd give up if days and nights were terrifying. And why does no one ask about an entire town (but Viktor) murdered in one night when Miranda almost went into the tree? Maybe getting answers not a good thing at all!

This was not Jim's fault. This on Tabitha and Jade and their relentless quest for answers to "save the children" who've been roaming around and saying "anghkooey" for centuries. Did it have to be that stupid word? Doesn't exist in ay known language! Jim the sacrifice here. So sad. And Julie should know that Ethan always right - time-travel or story-walking doesn't work to change the story. You can't change what's already happened. It's time-travel 101. She can go in for a hug or two, not a bad thing. I hope Ethan doesn't become the next Viktor now that we got man in yellow strolling around in daytime. And damn he's strong for his age.

If you go back in this season, and maybe season 2, you can hear variations of Jade's song throughout the show. Possibly hints on what's true and what's just theory when it comes to the characters and storyline Also, since I haven't commented or interacted in a while, just want to say y'all been giving me life and laughs through a difficult period. Elgin did that to himself. All he had to do was tell them where she was. Yeah Sara and Fatima killed people, but they didn't hold someone hostage. Yeah Sara tried to kill Ethan but it's not like she had him hostage somewhere waiting for a monster to come get it. And yeah Sara is able to reintegrate and Elgin WOULD HAVE been able to, unmaimed, if he had just told them where Fatima was.
