lol Sam not being able to send out the ravens didn’t have anything to do with the Nightswatch members getting killed off. No, him sending out the ravens was just about notifying them at the Wall that they’d been attacked. Sure, it might’ve helped them get rescued down the road, like weeks from now, but it couldn’t prevent anything that was happening during the attack. lol like, do y’all think the ravens are emails and they got transporters at the Wall? 😂😂😂 But TBH, that whole thing with Lord Commander getting so worked up at Sam is dumb anyways, because there was no time at all to send them out between the third horn blast and the blizzard that came in and brought the Whites/White Walkers.

That's a disservice the show did to Catelyn. In the books she does that with Jaime AFTER she thinks her sons are dead and her daughters are trapped in kings landing. I think if the show had stuck to that, people wouldn't be quite as hard on her for it.

Since you were talking about the head families, don’t forget Cat’s family, the Tullys. They’re the lords paramount of the Riverlands, basically the equivalent of the Starks. Catlyn was raised to be the lady of Riverrun, because her brother, Edmure, didn’t come along until she was older. She was very well-versed in the politics of Westeros and warfare, for that matter. She lived her whole life in that world, while the Starks stayed up North in the snow. For all the smack you all talk about her, she was a much better politician than Ned or Rob, and she was technically too good for Ned. He only got her because Brandon died. And ONCE AGAIN - if she hadn’t sent Jamie with Brienne, the Karstarks would have killed him. Literally, if everyone had listened to Cat every time, they wouldn’t be in this mess.

My ex husband had a child 3 years into our marriage with his ex (his daughter's mother, making it two daughters with her) but the second I held her at the hospital when she was born, I immediately loved her and still do. Been divorced over 14 years have no contact with my ex husband but I have dinner with that daughter every Sunday with my sons and her son aka my grandson, so no it's never okay to blame it on the kid.

My youngest step daughter was born three years into my marriage. I worried all through her moms pregnancy that I wouldn't be able to get over my feelings.
