My Fyoochur

Technically yes and no. Blade was the Kickstart to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) even though they don't consider Blade part of the MCU. This movie did start the live action Marvel movies that came after this.

Dmontae Sims

Okay thanks for that info . I knew it was something like that lol

MattPalmer237

the unexpected success of the first Blade movie is what saved Marvel from going bankrupt in the 90's, they had sold off the film rights to all their characters for quick cash and a lesser-known character like Blade is what saved them. That's why it took so long for the MCU to really get everyone back...and they still haven't got Spider-Man back from Sony....

Monica H

I was looking for this comment. They saw that movie so that's probably where they recognize him from.

PlayBoiiTrey

Y’all need to watch the dark knight series or sum Osafa my guy but the disrespect to Bruce Wayne shall not be tolerated.

Tori

Da ha watching this (after watching Blade one) and the notification for Blade 3 pops up which means woot woot I get to watch all three back to back today 🎆🎇🎆🎇
