At the end, Althelstan didn’t do that to himself. His palms are bleeding where he was crucified. Idk if you guys know about Stigmata, which is a Catholic belief that some people spontaneously develop bleeding marks on their hands, feet or head - or sometimes all 3 - where Jesus was injured during his crucifixion. It’s considered a miracle and those people are thought to be holy (I was raised Catholic for a time which is why I know stuff like this). In the show, this is happening while other mysterious things are occurring. To me, it’s supposed to be seen as: Is this truly a divine occurrence or merely Athelstan’s old wounds reopening for some reason? Either way, I think it’s meant to be a sign to Athelstan concerning his faith.

I know I'm 6 months late lol but if you're talking about Harbard who appeared at the end he is played by Kevin Durand and he didn't play in TWD (he was like the 4th or 5th pick to play Negan tho), he played in a bunch of movies and a TV show called The Strain that was on FX. Plus that wasn't A wolves member. Tyrese never met the wolves, that guy was from Terminus part of the cannibals group.
