Blue

HBK713🏄🏾‍♂️

Coolio 😎 cause I have to leave the live early last week mid watch 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾

La Toya Sheri

Yay. I clicked on this so fast. This movie was so emotional. I saw this in theatres with my son and it definitely left me in my feels. Glad you guys checked this out.

Rocinate

Crazy. I saw a review of this movie that said, “Loved the movie. Incredible acting. I never want to see it again.” Pretty much sums it up

Blue

It's cool seeing James on more movie reactions, his humour is so funny 😆

JM

0:32 F, H, and S 😂 I don't even say that word but that cracked me up.

Jo_Jo

Bro all it had to take was this movie and TAKE MY MONEY....I literally been waiting for this....THANK YOU..

Jo_Jo

Someone gotta recommend them THE BLACK PHONE and Smile.

StefHarlem

They did Smile 1, definitely need them to see Smile 2

Blue

Smile 2 is so good!

Slime SLAT

I dont think any of you understand how long 50 miles is lol. A marathon is half of that.

Shari Todd

I'm so old that when I first read the Hunger Games my first thought was "Hey - this is a lot like The Long Walk!" This is definitely one of, if not my ultimate favorite Stephen King story.

Zaki Payne

What's crazy about this ending, guys is that McVries actuallly dies in the book and Garraty is the one to win

Zaki Payne

Thst's how i was after i first watched. Shit hurt differently than any other film i've watched. It's a great film, but it's such a hard watch

Queen S

This movie was so sad art tore me up when he said he was going home I knew exactly what he meant and he said give this to my grandma don't look when they do it I cried I couldn't hold back the tears 😭and the Indian boy I don't know it's character name you guys was calling him Jacob when he was saying his Indian prayers that was so heartfelt 😭 I think that they kill Pete after he shot the major they just didn't show it that's why there was no one left in the street. And he did tell Ray he been walking his whole life I think that's why they showed him kept walking this is my theory you guys made humor out such a sad movie some of the things you guys were saying was funny tho I'm glad you guys reacted to it

Queen S

I also wanted to say I loved Pete everybody need a pete in their life

Sierra Davis

Art, Stebbins, Harkness (broken ankle boy) and Hank really got me😭😭. Bravo to all the actors, but especially David Jonson (Pete). Mane, had me shouting after his speech about love and light. 😩😩 The long walk is really a mental game if your physical body doesn’t do you dirty like it did Stebbins and Art. Mane, those boys were fighting their minds, each other sometimes, their bodies and the outside elements. James, I get not wanting to make friends, but humans are gonna wanna talk to one another. My mom believes that talking kept many of the boys going. Mental stimulation was quite important. Addison, you are right. No one wins in the end. I don’t think Pete was dead at the end. I think he was blocking out all the noise around him and just kept walking. This movie is based on Stephen King’s novel and I’ve heard that it has a connection to young boys being drafted during the Vietnam war. It kinda gives you the feeling of losing all your comrades to war only to be the last one left standing. I’m sure Pete is suffering with survivors guilt, PTSD, etc after this. Like young men coming home after a violent war, the light has dimmed a little🥲.

Dimitri Bray

The first guy that was killed is jojo rabbit😭

dlite357

David Jonsson is a great actor! He was also in “Alien: Romulus.” I didn’t realize Mark Hamill was the Major in this movie 🍿

CeeloShawty

I feel like y'all negroes missed some good dialogue talking through a few scenes lol. Glad y'all finally watched this joint. It still trips me out how most of Stephen King's movies take place in Maine.

Shanaꨄ︎

“James Bookinit Woods”…Keep this everyday negro indefinitely😭😭😭😭—Great reaction! (Per usual)

Diary of a Dragon

Yes!!! A group movie reaction. So happy for this one ☺️

Jess Tyrell

The ending is up to interpretation. I see that as him now continuing his walk of life since he said he’s been walking his whole life.

Ashleigh

I wouldn’t have made it longer than a day I’m ngl. I definitely would’ve punked out at the last minute and stayed in the car with my mama. I think that Pete was immediately killed once he killed the Major. That’s why the people disappeared, and his spirit just kept on walking. Either that or maybe they’re trying to say he might as well have been dead after the walk. He said he was walking his whole life and now because of what he’s seen, he can never stop.

Crazy Taco

Can we pls get 28 Years Later The Bone Temple with the boys Brandon and Osafa

AllyBoo124

The long walk is NOT a game where you need to manipulate or sabotage other walkers, there’s not an issue with having friends it will keep you sane, on the other hand it will also make it that much harder when you inevitably have to lose your friends on this journey. But Not having one friend would make it easier for you to give up also cuz you’d definitely feel more alone and like you don’t have anything to fight for

AllyBoo124

Someone else already said but I think after Pete shot the major, they opened fire on him immediately and he died which is why everyone disappeared at the end

Kenia

This is an open ending meaning it's left for the viewers to decide the ending. I hope you guys liked it.

Rhonda

I hope you guys watch the best man final chapters and Romulus

Rhonda

Yeah I think he died which is why everyone disappeared

Kay Rey

In the alternate ending, when he survived the street was empty then too, so who knows.

Kay Rey

Also, they are poor. They may only have 1 pair of shoes to their name.

Kay Rey

Did ya'll hear ANY of the dialogue??? Lol

Allure

Great reaction but y’all missed a lot of dialogue that answered some of the questions you had at the end… they spoke about past winners during the walk so there are living winners. There are no more warnings in the final stretch. The ending is mostly left up to interpretation but I don’t believe there was some weird play of events. Ray died first when he stopped, then Pete killed the major, if Pete died immediately after is what a lot of viewers are uncertain of.

Dre

Ngl ya gotta include my boy into some more group reactions, he had me dying 🤣🤣 great reaction y’all!

Naja

Art said that a previous winner asked for an elephant and rode it home. In the book, it mentioned that other winners just never were the same again. But you’re right, even after making it to the end, there are no “winners”.

Nikki

Uh we lost the Vietnam War. Also wonder how they knew people would die in mass amount. Guess I was naive. Never heard of the book. I had no idea what was happening in this movie. The previews showed nothing to me just people walking. I was clueless. Didnt even think of a kill count 😆

Kenia Ortiz

Stephen King wrote this book as an allegory of young men in the military (I think three Vietnam war was happening then). And the truth about survivors guilt, unable to process loss and trauma. And how soldiers are fed the lies of grandeur, respect and honor. That’s why Curly joined, he represented the young boys who go into the military with a naive perspective believing what the system is promising. It’s also a nice symbolism of the boy who leaves behind his origami once the walk starts… they left their childhood behind. Also- I feel like Osafa is the big brother of the group 😂😂 He just looks at James and Adison like 🤨 every time they talk

Tiny_Dessy

This movie was really something, I definitely think he died at the end. Theres no way they let him shoot the major and just walk away from it. If he was like I wish you were dead to him maybe he would be fine but just asking for a gun and then shooting him made it worse. He told ray if he did it, they would kill him... I don't think that'd change. Great reaction tho much love

Im Lillard

James is tapped 😭

Layla

What that mean?

Sam

You guys are really the best reactors. Loved this. I was laughing and crying at the same time 😆

Sam

I agree. I love James

Dan

"he blue" lmfaoooo

Landon

I swear yall would know it’s his home state and that he was gonna see his mom if yall would pay attention at all

kristin smith

Yes! excited for this one but also kinda dreading watching it again. i sobbed in the theater watching this 😭

Veronica

I love this movie. Loved the novel. I did the immersion watch at a theater event and was on the treadmill the entire time. I really failed at the end when everything started getting emotional but was okay until then. Fun facts: it is King's very first story. He wrote it in college in reference to the Vietnam War during the 60s (which we did lose). It wasn't published until the 80s though, which was after novels like Carrie were published. The director for the movie is the same director as all but the first Hunger Games movies. Ray is played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman's son who was Plutarch in Hunger Games. The Major is Luke Skywalker.

Athasin

"My dad was my hero." Meanwhile the actor's dad was Philip Seymour Hoffman aka Heavensbee in Hunger Games 2-4 and he died before the 4th Hunger Games movie released.

Athasin

Pete died so quick we didn't even hear the shot.

Katlyn

“I’d rather go to war.” Funny you should say that. Stephen King wrote this as an allegory for the Vietnam war. 😬🫣

Iman-Listenerbell

This film made me sob in the cinema. Seeing James react to this made me cackle a few times.

jessica diora

Addison and his corny jokes.. good lord. This movie was not for me but yall reaction was good. I’m kinda with James, I wouldn’t be making any friends, wouldn’t even talk much either.

everydaynegroes

It was a dark movie I had to lighten the mood! 😅 -Adison

revolves.round.AVA

The Kenyan joke....😀 And that Black-Blue skin is gorgeous, im surprised Adison has never heard of Black people having a blue hue to their skin. Also they explained before the major's son died that they couldn't stop at the same time.

Risu

Idc I still hate what Ray did to his moms smh he didn't have to leave her. Loved that Pete lived but still it sucks. I felt so bad for her this entire movie

Z.Incognito

I might be wrong but its implied that Pete was killed right after he shot the major which is why the street becomes empty only after he killed him

Kyuubi16

30:15 Nah this man is wilding.

Crazy Taco

Lmao that was definitely one of the intros of all time

Crazy Taco

Did yall clock the first kid that got killed with the curly hair was the kid from Jojo rabbit?

Crazy Taco

Yall definitely should have walked while watching that would be a dope way to get a better understanding of what they where going through

Sweet Peas

So in the book, Hank wanted to kill the guards when it was his time. They shot him first. "He did it wrong!"

Jules

If Pete died it was right after he killed the major. Everyone disappeared after he killed the Major. The other winners were mentioned earlier so people definitely win. The empty streets could also just be symbolic of what ya'll said. Survivors guilt. Pete didn't have anything or anyone there for him and now he's the lone survivor of this traumatic ordeal back on his own walk.

Onlyonebaad

Pete won killed the major and he was killed after , that was his spirit walking still after walking all his life

Jacena

well….. that was a lot

x_kaee

‼️

dlite357

They Did “Smile 2” already. I think Adison mentioned he already seen “Black Phone.”

Allure

They missed all the good dialogue lol but I still love them 😭😩

Elijah

Jesus Christ the bros spoke through EVERY BIT OF IMPORTANT DIALOGUE HOLYYYYY FUCK

Elijah

Shanique
