Are you guys watching season 4 of From the new season started last Sunday it was good

Katie Davis

The French royals (Emperor Charles and his daughter Gisla) wear those masks while France is going to war with the attacking vikings to hide their fear and anxiety from both their enemies and their own subjects. The masks allow them to come across as calm and authoritative, even if in reality, they were terrified. It's symbolic that the King leaves his on, and they zoom in to show us he's trembling and breathing heavy. But his daughter, Princess Gisla, takes hers off and doesn't put it back on. She also goes to the wall and rallies the troops. They're showing us she's fearless and the real leader here.

Katie Davis

Remember about Rollo - he has the vision/prophecy that the Seer told him in mind. "The Princess will crown the Bear and you shall be there to see it." He told him if he knew what his destiny involved and what Paris held for him, he'd be dancing naked - he would be overjoyed with his fate.

Veronica

I'm glad to be able to come back and see that you guys are still reacting to this show. I love Vikings. It's one of those shows I can watch over and over. I originally slept on it but quickly caught up, especially when it got to Season 4 (I developed many crushes). I love the France scenes. Gisla is fearless. I would like to remind that even though all the actors, generally, speak in English... that is for the audience benefit. Ragnar and the Vikings did not know Old Frankish (or Old Low Franconian which was used in Vikings) and the French did not know Old Norse. So the French are standing there because they don't know what is going on. It's ways of fighting they're not used to from "Heathens" they can't understand. It's kind of like the Vikings and the English. Athelstan knew Old Norse (which is what saved him) and he taught Ragnar Old English who then only got better as he spent time in England.

PULLOUTASSASSIN313

Could you guys add the Spartacus series to your list?

Austin Hogan

Y’all for real need to watch the behind-the-scenes of this and The Walking Dead the actor for Darrell Dixon and Rick-Andrew Lincoln Pranked each other relentlessly the actor for Ragnar travis Fimmel, is like that, but on steroids Dude would be a menace everyone on set. Imagine you’re working for over seven hours trying to get scenes right you come back into your trailer and then bucket of water, pours on you because you opened a booby trapped door

Austin Hogan

Fun fact about this specific area in France it’s very close to where the shores of Normandy are and where another extremely bloody battle took place

Menia Battle

Don't forget to watch The Interview with The Vampire even if you just watch it alone Addison. The Series

Menia Battle

Now, why would you put this in the comment section? Was someone sitting on your shoulder telling you what happened or what to look out for, or did you enjoy figuring it out by yourself, or just waiting to see what happened yourself? Why can't you just let others enjoy the show?

Katie Davis

This was in an episode we/EDN already watched (where the Seer talks to Rollo and tells him this). I don't like spoilers either. But everything I shared above is what was told to him/in that previous episode.

Benjamin

This honestly is one of the best episodes of Vikings 👏 always love the vibes y’all be giving

Guys, it is going to be a month. Where are the other episodes of Vikings? Are you going to check out the series, Interview with the Vampire?

Menia Battle

Please, Addison, it's been a month, and you haven't posted anything else on this series. Also, please add Interview with the Vampire " to your list so we can vote on it. I promise you won't regret it. It's an amazing series. Watch it alone if the others don't want to watch it
