It's not really shown in the show, unfortunately, but the animals in the book are definitely connected to their owners, especially the Starks.

Hey fellas, just to help y’all out with the thing about Jon being named Jon Stark. It’s not just done by the whoever the dad is in the situation, the ruler of the seven kingdoms can also “naturalize” any bastard by granting them their father’s last name. They would then be called a “Lawful son” meaning the laws would now recognize them as such — that’s the only way a bastard can receive an inheritance.

Roose couldn’t actually make Ramsey a true born. It was Tommens royal decree that did it. Tommen who is a bast***actually has no right in doing that. Stannis however is the rightful King to the throne and is able to naturalize Jon. Another fair offer by Stannis btw.

Okay, I totally feel everybody when they say Brienne is like a fish out of water when it comes to fulfilling her vow to Cat... And I also feel people that think Cat being deleted from the character list equals automated release from said vow... But I admire her tenacity... And her resolve...She has traveled miles randomly inquiring about two young ladies that really don't want to be found, She's been questioned/second guessed by others including her own (not) squire, She's been almost assaulted, Held prisoner, made to gladiate against a bear,She's had to go toe to toe with the hound, And been rejected by both of her charges... I mean, that saying that possession is 9/10ths of the law most definitely applies here and he hasn't even so much as gazed upon the iron throne in YEARS.... Honestly Stannis' issue is that he's too self righteous... I mean I would say he's too honest and everything needs to be 'by the book' for him similar to Ned, but that's not the case, It's closer to narcissism , and I know so because Milesandre would've been killed in whatever way heretics are sentenced to death in Westeros the moment she had a small crowd gathered but for the fact that HE was named as the chosen one in her prophecy...

But also, yes in certain cases a legitimate male heir can be subbed out for just a known direct male heir for the sake of a house not dying off or fading into obscurity...How Stannis thinks this is a deal for Jon at this point, shows how clouded his judgement was though because by all accounts and the fact that nobody knows where the girls are and Bran and Rickon are considered dead... That title was Jon's whether Stannis offered it or not. AND to top it off if just one or two things change (as far as the state of the game so far)... Others with a more tangible ability to make good would soon be lining up to make the same deal... Everyone who needs to be privy know where Jon is and who he is, the fact that he's been left alone is in indicator that he's a piece to be moved at a later date if at all... Stannis being the first contender of the game to.make the offer shows weakness of position at the least and a definite lack of options...

And also there are cases specific to the starks where I believe the ruler of the 7 kingdoms weren't involved in the passing of the mantle of LOW(Lord of Winterfell) but I believe that the case I'm speaking of involved the eldests of kinfolk of the Starks and the bastard that became LOW was in the Night's Watch and there wasn't even a legitimate daughter to consider using to continue the line... I could be mixing something up but pretty sure it had less to do with a kings say so and more about the elders of the house thinking to preserve their house at all costs...

I dont see how Dany made a mistake in this situation I truly believe it was just a lose lose. She agreed to do a fair trial because she wanted proof etc, but she would have killed him because of the proof found. The freed slave admitted to his crime and was punished accordingly. The only mistake she made was like Hizdar said “she should have done this in the great pyramid and been done with it”.

We have reached the point in the show where Dany's every move is criticized extra hard because.... reasons. I cant wait till we get to the point where Jon makes mistakes because he wont make decisions at all so he can be overly criticized too... Oh wait he doesnt get overly criticized. I wonder why. Lmao im not mad at Adison for feeling the way he feels. But its just kinda obvious that there's a bias and its just funny. Also not saying that Dany is above criticism. It just isnt fairly weighted to the implications of the mistakes.

Important things to remember about dragons - they are actually super wise in their own way. Dragons (and Drogon especially) also respect power, not weakness. Right now, Daenarys is weak and confused. Drogon can sense that in her. He literally smells it on her. So, he flies away - - it's sort of like, alright when you're ready to stop messing around and be who you really are, I'll be back. They're all three supposed to be really connected to Daenarys but Drogon especially. He knows she acting a fool right now.

I’d like to thank the guys for calling out Adisom for being too noticing of partial nudity and such. Even in the Bible, nudity in and of itself isn’t sinful. It’s the natural form of the human body. Unless you’re watching for sexual gratification, there’s literally nothing wrong with it. Sex scenes are understandably different. But just seeing a naked body part isn’t this huge error in judgement
