Slime SLAT

Ismaeel Ahmed

jackson-estate propaganda movie hahaha

Braather-got-hishairdo

Today marks exactly 17 years since Michael’s passing♥️🖤, i dont know if Adison you knew this before posting or thats just a crazy cool coincidence 🕊️🪦

Lit scoota♥️

WHEN YOU BORN THE GROOVIEST HUMAN ON THE PLANET ITS HARD TO CONTAIN THEM MOVES.

The Emerald Duchess

I was born in 1979. There is a Micheal song for every single chapter of my life. Although if you’re my age, the movie had some discrepancies and missing pieces and people…..it’s pretty good.

Keke

You’ve been hit by a smooth criminal 🎶🕴🏽

Slime SLAT

Yes. That Michael standing on the car scene really happened. Theres a photo

Vic

Whoa addy hit us with the new camera angle 👀

Slime SLAT

Also the actor, jaafar, is michaels nephew.

Lily Taylor

Did y'all ever see The Jacksons: An American Dream? It's a miniseries that's definitely worth reacting to if not!

Kim Magee

yay, please watch Project hail Mary too, it's a GREAT film 9.5/10 rating on IMDb and 95% on rotten tomatoes, that's insane ratings

Kim Magee

it's heartbreaking to think of how this man's life ended, all the incredible things still to come from him too that the world was denied, an incredible talent as a singer, performer and songwriter even as a child, Ben is still one of the most beautiful and emotional songs written ever

Onlyonebaad

Him getting his head burnt was a Pepsi commercial..

Yo!Adrain

They were shooting a Pepsi commercial when his hair caught on fire, not the Victory Tour. Yall must watch The Jacksons: An American Dream.

Keke

I didn’t know Kendrick Sampson was in this. Love him in Insecure and TVD.

Jess Tyrell

Nobody can out do Michael he is literally the best there ever was. It’s sweet that you guys posted this on his anniversary day very excited to watch 😊

Courtney Jayd

Before I realized what reaction this was- I thought they were watching Michael with John Travolta lol

Courtney Jayd

LOVE! I always thought it was a movie til I realized it was a 2 part series.

Keke

Praying for you Adison, this edit is gonna go crazy 😂.

Keke

“A little wiggle for the drizzle” 📝

Keke

1:59:25 Probably Taylor Swift, in terms of people who pop out to her concerts and tours. For me personally since I listen to her, I’d say Olivia Rodrigo!

Keke

2:03:01 This meme goes crazy on TikTok 🤣.

Nya

Is was a great reaction!

Angelcris10

Yup, I remember that.❤️

fi

MJ suffered severe second- and third-degree burns to his scalp while filming a Pepsi commercial! Not a live show

fi

Happened in 1984

fi

It’s crazy to think that Michael being the biggest star this world will ever see even after his passing, came with such negativity. People and the industry would bully him about his skin condition claiming he bleached, when actually had VITILIGO and mock him for wearing a wig, even though he had too because of the incident that almost killed him. Even with all that he still was such a sweet person to others & still continued to be the BEST regardless of those obstacles. 💔🥹

fi

Also on Google it says Joseph actually struck his wife Catherine during an argument, she spoke about it in her book.

fi

Janet didn’t approve of this movie lol that’s why she wasn’t in it

fi

Numbers wise, Beyoncé for sure.

Mat Said Welcome

Joe forced these kids to call him Joseph while allowing his child by his longterm mistress to call him dad. He created generational Stockholm Syndrome amongst his kids. Ill never understand how any adult can be excited to be a child's first bully.

Vic

You thinking the Griffith Observatory is a house killed me

JM

MTV used to only play Rock music. MJ and Prince were the first Black artists MTV played in the 80s. Its also interesting how other musicians started taking their videos seriously after "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" 👀 BET was formed around the same time but wasn't the established the way we knew it to become until over a decade later.

Jacqueline bain

This was great really can remember a lot of those big events growing up from beat it onwards. I even shed a tear on how brilliant his nephew done and thinking Michael would’ve been so proud. As always u guys brought the banter xx

Tiny_Dessy

not them not knowing it's his nephew 🤣

neraby

I think it would be funny as all get out to put a dummy in the chair behind you guys. There needs to be a silent guest watcher. He just won't react. He'll just be like that guy from Weekend At Bernie's. His name by the way should be Bernie. Share it with the guys. Shop work it. See if you like it.

Samuel Daley

You guys need to watch mj concerts, interviews, and YouTube clips. Fortunately as much as mj was private he loved the camera and there’s a lot of videos of him out there. Him standing on the car with that crowd was a real scene. There’s videos of him of him in a hotel and those block around was filled with people. The mj rabbit hole is a fun thrilling hole to go down on

Crystal

Is this movie available to rent or do I have to buy it? Great reaction guys!

Rockkzilla TV

No one is like Mike, he influenced so many things/people in music and outside. O was on point with the DBZ reference, MJ influenced anime heavy. Akira (movie) being one many others as well. Wrestling Macho Man, Chris Jericho, Shinsuke Nakamura etc..

Courtney Jayd

I read that DBZ Bubbles is a homage to Michael Jackson’s Bubbles so B3 was on point. Nice catch

Jade

Michaels drug habit didn’t start until after his performance at MJ & Friends benefit concert at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany in 1999 where the stage lift he was on malfunctioned and it went plummeting to the ground. He hurt his back instantly but still performed. He had permanent damage to his spine. After that is when he started taking pain pills.

La Toya Sheri

yesssss. Loved this we saw this 3 times in theatre and I watched a reactor watch it now get to see u guys my favorite reactors watch it. Let's go. King of pop rip He had some bangers for sure. Miss him, Whitney prince , luther so many

Lauren

I really appreciate you guys for dropping this today! RIP Michael! Just in case if you guys didn’t know, that’s Michael’s nephew Jafar Jackson. He’s one of Jermaine sons. Also, in the Jacksons miniseries from the 90s, Jermaine’s eldest son played his father as a kid. More info, when Michael’s hair caught on fire that was for the Pepsi commercial. I believe in the 80s. They did 3 Pepsi commercials, the concert one, another one where the Jackson’s run into some kids on the street and start dancing (the lead kid is Alfonso Ribeiro, he plays Carlton in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), and then there was another I can’t remember but that was for the Pepsi commercial. You should look into it because the story behind that and the victory tour is very interesting.

La Toya Sheri

I'm named after Latoya too lol I love Janet tho fr. Gotta see her concert

PVaughn

10/10 I miss MJ soo much 🕊️

MusicalAries*41

Rest in Heaven MJ. Great movie almost started dancing in the theatre but stayed in my seat dancing 🤣 Nephew did amazing but he was caked up in them black and white stripped pants👀🤷🏾‍♀️🫣😜🤣🤣. Me and my 17 year old neice was like Mike wasnt that thick🤔😂

FindingMyJoi

The Jackson’s: An American Dream touches on some things they left out of this movie. I suggest that if y’all are interested.

Carol

I like that y’all mentioned what would happen if he live-streamed today because he became the most famous person on the planet when the internet didn’t even exist. Like, any nook or cranny of any city, town, village in any country they know Michael. That is a real superstar.

Targary

lord they comparing michael and chris brown again idk if you saw. so please send the flood thank you!

LegendX

Idk if you're into country music like that but "Walk the line" is another good impersonation movie Johnny cash is played by Joaquin Phoenix

Ashley M

MJ will always be that one and a legend. Sooo good

Ciarah C

There’s supposed to be a second movie that depicts the latter half of his life. They’ve expressed difficulty with getting clearance on certain things, so they had to cut it up. Hope y’all tap into it if it comes out🙂‍↕️

Opa Loki

The actor playing MJ is of course his nephew but his mom has children with two Jackson brothers so his siblings are also his cousins through their fathers.

Nicky A

Brandon's got a point. But I don't think the others know that Bruno can dance too.

Nuffinnbutthetide

Michael Jackson is probably the most popular person period besides the dubious Religious figures 😂

Vic

Guys, it’s Beyoncé. She’s the closest thing we have to Michael today.

Mi'Angel

Aww I actually really appreciate the dedication to watch it first with us cause I think I watched it like 5 times now, it was sooooo good😂👌🏾

Kf

This man said Snoop Dogg and 50 cents for most diverse fans lol smh

Shanaꨄ︎

See…I was waiting for somebody else to say it because there’s only ONE true answer🐝 and they know it. They just be hating sometimes😭

Targary

like i want everyone to be so fr! chris ain’t no where NEAR! lol and notice how they named only men!!

Vic

Lmao I was appalled when I heard 50 cent and Snoop Dogg before I heard Beyoncé

Opa Loki

And as a MJ fan, I definitely like Off The Wall & even Invincible more than Thriller 😵‍💫

ShalinCarterTV

For other biopics it would be 🔥 for a group of yall (not just Adison by himself) watch Straight Outta Compton and The New Edition Story limited series

The Better Life Podcast

THANK YOU! I was listing all the ways she and her LIVE performances are the only thing that comes close. Idk how that went over their heads. Sadly, we’ll never get a Renaissance (Doc) reaction🥺

Rindamarie

umm, yeah MTV didn't play black artist. I can't say he was the first because I swear Pass the Dutchie I saw first on MTV. When Billie Jean aired on MTV, it was jarring. I only watched MTV to understand who my white classmates were talking about. I will say, David Bowie did call out MTV in an interview for its lack of airplay for black artists. After Billie Jean, they played Prince. But MTV in the 80s was not at all progressive. BET was around in the evenings, but it only aired a few hours a day. Video Soul is how we saw our black artists. Thriller blew open MTV and the music video industry. I had mixed feelings about this movie. I understand the hype. But I felt anger/rage the entire time. The Jackson 5's debut album was released in 1969, the year I was born. Michael Jackson's voice was the soundtrack of my life. 17 years he's been gone. I still miss him. Michael burned his hair during the filming of the Pepsi commercial. Check out the miniseries on the Jacksons. It went deeper into the family dynamic, Joseph's affairs etc...

revolves.round.AVA

YOUNGBOY!?!?!?! Okay 1. That 🦝 cannot dance, sing, think for himself, no where near as creative or captivating as Michael. 2. And no not even numbers wise. 3. It's obviously Beyoncé. She can sing, dance, is creative and captivating, etc. Not Chris Brown either. I just knew yall were gonna mention the abuser.🤦🏽‍♀️ The man can dance well, I won't say he cant. But that all he's got fr. His voice isn't mindblowing.

NJM

Right?! I was shocked no one said Beyonce. She is the closest comparison!

fi

Men 🙄😂

decarlton huston

Well yall might as well watch James brown Get on up.. yall have to pay respect to the godfather of soul.. very entertaining movie

Britt

This.

TAWNEE

My grandfather had his kids call him by his first name too. The beating was because of the performance 💯. My grandfather was just like Joe Jackson.

Jaci Henley

Bubble is still alive. He is 45 years old and he lives in an primate sanctuary in Florida.

LegendX

Beyoncé??? Not even close lol

Lamiah Timsah

I’m actually mind blown about how much yall didn’t know but the kids dad Joseph didn’t want them to call him dad

Vic

Okay 🙂 who then?

Lamiah Timsah

Michael literally had Japanese fans and Africans while he was alive he even preferred Asian tours over American tours let’s be for real snoop dog and 50 cent ain’t touching Michael at all even when it comes to crowds

Lorena_Trigcity

I agree Adoh, his armpit prob did smell good 🙏🏽🤣 I was all of 12 years old hyperventilating and fainted at the sight of MJ when he came to Aus. He had that much aura.

Queen S

Michael Jackson's nephew did a absolutely incredible job playing his uncle he had the move the sound everything I give it up to that boy he did great and a fun fact guys in case you guys didn't know when he did that 25 Motown the little boy that they showed twice in the audience was actually Safari the one who's playing Michael this was the first movie that I paid to go see in years and I enjoyed it thoroughly

Makayla Grice

I’m a swiftie but I already know how everyone hates us so I’m not even gonna say anything about numbers😭

Jaydah

Loved this reaction

KAI WITH LOVE

I think the family home/compound in Encino was owned by Michael, and he shared it with his parents. Also, it was mentioned in interviews that there was some controversy with the film. A few Jacksons refused to be involved with it (Randy, Rebbie, Janet, and also Paris)

Kareemah

There is no debate. He is the best entstainer ever. The Goat!

Kareemah

It's not available for streaming or rental. The licencing isn't available.

Kareemah

I like Bey and all but she still can't compare to Michael in my opinion.

Kareemah

I remember when it happened. I was 13

Kareemah

Joesph and Katherine Jackson had 10 children together, one died infancy or was stillborn, I can't remember. Joseph had a side baby with his mistress.

fi

Ofc not but they said in today’s world, only reasonable answer is Beyoncé.

OnDaHokage

I can tell yall just say anything without doing any kind of reseach...
