When they first introduced Hawkeye in Thor, he was in nest(vantage point). In the beginning of this movie, again he was in his nest , scoping out everything. So when Loki corrupts him, he is the most viable weapon against Shield. That helicarrier was a cakewalk for someone who only just needed a vantage point.

In the timeline of The Avengers, Captain America was the first Earth superhero. (Thor is probably older, but he's hard to classify since he's an alien.) In our real-world timeline, Superman was the first comic-book superhero, unless you count The Phantom, who wore a superhero-like costume but didn't actually have superpowers.

Great reaction fellas. I'll be that guy and just answer some questions y'all had throughout this jawn. Green Arrow is DC and would unfortunately get slid by Hawkeye, there are versions of Hulk where he's in control but smaller and less powerful (most notably Smart Hulk), Thor's hammer Mjölnir chooses who can lift it; for James, this is a superhero movie, it's okay to turn your brain off a lil bit lol. Gyros are greek and Shawarma is middle eastern but both peak wraps.

How is James mad at the soldiers for firing regular guns but wanted S.H.I.E.L.D to pull up? They were going to be firing similar weapons 😂 The gun Coulson had was a prototype. You guys unfortunately have to sit through two of the weaker MCU films after this. I'd recommend skipping but some things happen that are important later. Everything after, even Ant Man y'all 😂, though is fire.

On the Helicarrier, the explosion and Loki’s scepter triggered a panicked, feral rage where Black Widow was simply the closest target to Hulk. In the Battle of New York, Bruce chose to transform with a clear mind. I don’t wanna say none bout the Incredible Hulk but if yall watch it in the end yall will see. & YES MARK AND NORTON BRUCE IS THE SAME CHARACTER

I cringed the whole time ya’ll were talking about Natasha and Clint. They’re like brother and sister. 😂 The MCU is not perfect. Some of the movies are peak comic book movies. It all comes together very well later on. It’s worth sitting through each movie. One of the things I really like about the MCU, is that they don’t try to rewrite some of the plot that didn’t really work. They add to it and explain it better, tie it into the story and have it make more sense. I hate rewrites where franchises try to pretend mistakes didn’t happen and can never really find their grounding. Some of the mistakes are turned into character growth instead of rewrites.

Also, if ya’ll are going to react to the entire MCU, I recommend a movie every week or two. There are over 20, so it’s too easy to forget plot points.

James is a paradox. He is incredibly incisive, observant, and intelligent. But he suffers from serious problems of being wildly uninformed. I fear the dude has been the "smart guy" in his group of friends for so long that he's never been seriously challenged. He takes his first idea, thinks its solid, and then just holds on to it because he's convinced himself. He is totally blind to that which he hasn't considered and never stops to think if he's wrong unless other ideas press against him. You can tell that Adison, Osafa and Brandon rarely ever push back against him and when they do he tends to back down or triple down. That's why i find him completely annoying and almost unenjoyable to watch. Almost.
