WHAAAAAAAAAT 😍😍😮😮😮😮

Shamya

I’m so excited y’all checked this out. Definitely one of the best sci-fi movies out there. It just feels realistic.

randvi

Omg what a throw back! I haven’t seen this in forever but it’s so so good, can’t wait to see the reaction!

Jimmy Lazo

Whatt man i didnt know what to watch n this gem drops lets go

Ramos Joan Junior

Whaaaaaaat brooooo ,I’m leaving work to see this ! 😂😂😂

jazzyjane

One of my favorites from back in the day 🔥

Carlo

Crazy film.. I remember when it dropped

La Toya Sheri

Ok I think I seen this but remember nothing. Chronicle was similar kinda for sure

La Toya Sheri

Paranormal activity is like that too

Stayci Staxx

This is a throwback and a half!! I watched this in theaters lol ..Damn.. and Vonnie 🤗.. 🤭

JM

I remember this having A1 marketing leading up to the movie -- Easter eggs, secrets on the websites, mysterious photos, etc. The other movies are standalone films that aren't connected to this universe besides the title(s). 10 Cloverfield Lane is the best movie in the trilogy; yall gotta do that one.

Fi

She definitely wasn’t wrong for bringing another dude, he literally ghosted her for weeks. What did he expect?

Moondragon1821

You guys are the reason I just started watching Bridgerton. I'm halfway through the finale of season 1 but stopped EVERYTHING when I saw you're reacting to this. I worked at Blockbuster as this was coming out and fell down a HUGE rabbit hole with the ARG type advertising they had going on. I am sat right now for this!!!

Moondragon1821

I was working at Blockbuster, my first long term job, when this movie dropped. I got DEEEEP into all the lore. The store gave us Slusho shirts which everyone thought was about the blue slushie in Juno which was releasing in store around the same time. Oh were the wrong! Wish I would have known to keep the shirt pristine and taken one to wear lol.

Dimitri Bray

The girl you said that’s black and Indian is just black and white and she’s from Canada lol

Fi

Erm Brandon we do not pronounce crevice as ‘crevasse’ in the UK 😂 don’t know where you got that from

William Ashburner

I think Blair Witch Project was the first found footage style

Diary of a Dragon

Nah this one is a banger 😎 Definitely check out The Mist for a similar feel

Kenneth Gray

you missed the end were someone says its still alive at the end or it does on the dvd version

Jared Roderick

Alright...2 movie suggestions: The Girl With All The Gifts...highly underrated zombie flick Blood Quantum....highly underrated zombie flick..that has Walker from Fear the WD in it

Moondragon1821

It's one of those things. If you can see/hear the B52 "Sky Dorito", you're safe. In real life, you don't hear or see them coming. I live near an AFB. I've never seen one outside of airshows because they don't want us to see them when they are really deployed.

jasmin

lol officer down dipped in ranch

George Jones

Love this movie. Living in NY and working in lower Manhattan seeing this was wild, especially after 911. Rarely these days do you go into a movie not knowing what to expect. This was a great movie to watch with a crowd when it dropped. Great pick.

jasmin

i love that they had us thinking lily was done with the way they separated em and she ended up being the sole survivor we gotta see her again

bellat

I'm hoping sicario coming soon

Rae

I remember reading that the monster in this one was just a baby (and acted so aggressively because it was afraid and confused). There's a brief glimpse of a fully grown one in another one of the 3 movies and its sheer size makes this one look like well... a baby lolol

shemeka_blackscorpion

The one person that usually dies at the beginning of the movie was actually the only one that survived because they put her on a different helicopter

Jamarion Rich

Im sure this is what it is like when hulk rampage in new York

Andrew Jones

We find out later that the Cloverfield monster in this movie is just a baby and the adult is actually a lot larger. The Adult is about 10,000 feet tall.

CalamityKO

man lol i love nyc but this is a perfect example as to NOT WHERE TO BE WHEN THE WORLD ENDS LOL

CalamityKO

also fyi they're going the opposite direction of the bronx unfortunately lol

Gaster Grows

The Green Mile! Please! & Shawshank!

Carlo

Yall need to watch Colombiana .. Shout out Von

Carlo

The actor that plays Hud is Deadpool homie that run the bar

Carlo

Yea the B-2 stealth plane can basically be invincible on radar it’s shows up the size of a dime so it’s basically invisible.. an yea they refer to it as the Mother Of Death Or Silent Death From The Sky because you’ll never know until you about to die.

Steve

They already did 🙂

Steve

I really liked that movie when it came out. But PLEASE, make sure to NOT watch the sequels. They are terrible !! 😭😭

Persa

Brother Osefa said "They won't get me again... No sir!"

Persa

I really need Brother Von to dress up like Black Boomhauer for Halloween. We do have subways where you exit into underground malls or individual stores or even some of the big corporate buildings have exits directly to the subway

nattyindi

I saw this movie in theaters and left feeling so nerve wrecked

Dan

hope yall do cloverfield lane and tucker and dale vs evil would be good too

Johnny Andrews Jr

The ending scene when they were on the ferris wheel if you look to the left side of the ocean you can see the monster splash down the ocean

Kevin Tries Games

I don't know if anybody said this but they miss the ended where you can see the monster standing up and roaring.

Violet

If you guys like the found footage Style movie I would recommend The Last Exorcism it sounds scarier than it is yes it's sort of about that type of thing but mostly it's about a pastor finding his genuine faith. I wanted to join the VIP and pay the fee to have you guys react to it but I was never able to get an answer about how long that would take. But if the wait is ever a reasonable amount of time I'll absolutely pay the money to have you guys react to The Last Exorcism

Mr Corleone

Highlight from the reaction:

ItsRobbie

Von was talking about Project X, which is a good one. Found footage movies are great. Chronicle, Hardcore Henry, Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity, As Above So Below are all great movies. Fun Fact, Paranormal Activity because of its found footage style was able to be made on a budget of $15,000 and made approximately 194 MILLION dollars in the box office worldwide.

Zaki Payne

Just so y'all have the terminology correct. The subgenre is called Found Footage

Kyuubi16

1:11:45 Yall was tripping. How fast yall think Helicopters can go?

Ryuuji

You guys should check out Quarantine (2008)! It’s also filmed in that same POV style as Cloverfield.

Velchosus

2 really neat little Easter eggs that they put in was the monster falling into the water in the last scene on the far right, you see it hit the water in the far off distance. The other one is the audio at the end of the credits which says “help us” - but if played in reverse it sounds like it says “it’s still alive”. Fun little tidbits for later on.

CourtMeDaddy 🧚🏽‍♀️

i do think rob loved beth but i also think the trauma of losing his brother made him want to get her bc he couldn’t rescue his brother and to him shes someone he loves that he could save

rey

YES pls!!
