Gaster Grows

No offense to this community but it seems a large percentage of your viewers recommend absolute pedestrian slop content for you to react to--just utter corporate garbage with no quality in the writing. Hereditary is great! Can we please react to more great stuff? Theres so much great content that has been neglected for low-brow quantity over quality slop. WHERE IS BETTER CALL SAUL!? Fear the Walking Dead slop over BETTER CALL SAUL.

Gaster Grows

Its ok to say she looks like a little weirdo she was cast to be the weird looking creepy kid. Its ok.

Gaster Grows

Longlegs & Midsommar were boring poorly written slop in my opinion. Hereditary is great

Andrew Jones

Osafas facial expressions got me dead af

Chantal

Are you their mother?

Tremaine Wamer

Why Annie didn't sent them with an EpiPen?

Brandon

Nice choice to kick off pre-spooky month. Tons of cool little details throughout: the cult members being the teachers, support group members, etc. The empty chair in the meeting, which feels like the absent presence of the mother hanging over things. The paint spilling by itself. The chalkboard that Joan claims was her grandson's was literally in her shopping bags from that art craft store. And Joan's red and blue outfits resembling the colors (symbolizing blood and water, the Eucharist and Baptism) used in Christian art for Jesus and Mary, making her seem trustworthy at first, a savior even, until the meaning gets twisted. Everyone talks about Toni Colette's performance as Annie, and rightly so, but the dad's stoic suffering alone and breakdown get me every time.

KING Guyton

Adison what about the Stranger Things reactions you promised in the live?

Nadia Blackmon

I’m not all the way through the video yet but do they eventually realize the dad is the weird cult leader in Ballerina, too?

Wellington

Was so excited to see this. Addison falling out of his chair during the car scene was great.

Ikponmwosa Osarenkhoe

This is my favorite modern horror...I've probably seen 80% of all top horror movies ever made.

Nadia Blackmon

As a person whose parents had no clue what I was up to when I was a teenager because I made good grades and rarely actually got in trouble, I don’t think it’s entirely fair to blame the mom for what happened to the daughter. Like, she sent the sister for two reasons: she’s clearly a loner and doesn’t get out much or socialize (and was dealing with the death of the grandmother, too) and they’re at that age as a duo of siblings where they’re probably growing apart in a way that a mother would feel and try to prevent from happening - forcing them to hang out with each other is definitely a mom thing to do and, although I’m not certain, I’m not sure the mom is aware he’s a stoner, just a teenager who may drink at a party. I’m sure she still thinks he’s a good kid who wouldn’t endanger his sister because, up until that point, he probably never had. She’s also a working parent who has to juggle her marriage, her kids, and all the ways those relationships interact with each other (on top of the forever present underlying trauma of a traumatic upbringing). She believed her son would do the right thing and she was (super duper) wrong, pretty much.

jumpout4

another gem💎💎💎💎

Dan

lets gooooo, midsommar soon too i hope

ackelman

How do I get a movie reaction here? I think you guys would LOVE Invisible Man from 2020 and I would pay to get you to watch it tbh.

M Star

There’s nothing wrong with pointing that she has a condition out, they thought it was make up

LaughingGemini

when peter jumped out of the window he passed away. that black shadow leaving his body was his soul. the light you see entering his body right after was paimon. peter is now paimon.

Tremaine Wamer

Why didn't Annie send both of her kids with an EpiPen?

Jtozee's Reaction's

In all fairness I wipe my dog paws when he comes in as well 🤷🏽‍♀️

Targary

okay i love this film! lemme break it down: yes the granny was in a cult. charlie was possessed from birth with the demon the cult worships. that’s why she was making all those weird bodies shaped as a man the demon needed a male host. so after charlie dies peter starts to get possessed with the demon paimon. (also this is why charlie has a boys name and her face is slightly disfigured)

Targary

lemme know if yall want more lore and information 😭

Lauren White

Now what y’all really really ought to do is watch the short film by this same writer/director, Ari Aster, called The Strange Thing about the Johnsons. That would be a wildddd reaction to see. Y’all should do short horror films off YouTube for spooky season no one ever does those but some are actual bangers for real.

Jocey

I’m gonna be opposite of everybody else here…DO NOT WATCH MIDSOMMER. If y’all were disturbed from this, that one is way worse in my opinion 🤣

Andrew Jones

Adison We need that 2007 Ghost Rider reaction.

Crazy Taco

Whaaat one of the best horror films of the last 10 years

Crazy Taco

We need Terrifier this year in October

NovusIgnis

The black shadow came from the window. It was literally the mom's body floating out.

NovusIgnis

There's somethign to all that, but she failed by not making sure they take the epipen. Something that BOTH parents failed at. It happened at the funeral too. That should be in the car, in her purse, strapped to Charlie's leg, all over. If you have a crazy allergy like that and a kid that isn't completely there and careful, then you need to have back-ups and contingencies for the epipen. Yet they didn't. The parents aren't the best here, in particular the mom.

NovusIgnis

Man I couldn't wait to see ya'lls reaction to the car scene. I was not disappointed. I gotta say ya'll made this viewing of this movie more enjoyable than I've ever gotten. Ya'll just talk and joke so much that it was impossible to get sucked into the negativity. Something I've figured with this movie is that it seeks to put the viewer into the same mindset as Peter, slowly and progressively spiraling into depression as the movie goes on until we feel dirty and vulnerable just like him from seeing all this evil. I think the movie does a good job of that.

NovusIgnis

Y'all should watch Late Night with the Devil since you're on this horror movie tear

The_Paige_Master

The parents would or should be charge with neglect, endangerment, and it would be hard but involuntary manslaughter. They never had an epi pen on them (that was stated in the beginning) also knowing her daughter was going out, she should’ve told her to take she epi pen.

The_Paige_Master

Midsommar is a beautifully shot film, I like it more than Hereditary

Dan

"she was getting ready to get decapitated: lmfaoooo, nah the cult put the roadkill in the way and they had the symbol on the pole, I dont think Charlie knew anything

Anaya

No way. This movie scarred me years ago. It oozes evil. I can't watch this. I thank the comments for pre-warning me about Midsommar. I will not be watching it. lol.

Ms Afro Majestic

This is the only way I can watch scary movies...with y'all (and all the lights on and a blanket) . What did I just watch? I would say I only watched 45% because somehow my blanket kept covering my face.

Yvonne .O

Great reaction guys. It's time to watch Widow's Bay

Ciarah C

That movie is literally a never ending nightmare with beautiful scenery lol. I hated it, but I’ll watch them watch it

nerizza p.

i had no idea this was up wthellyyyyy

Eevee

Please watch The Descent 1 and 2. 🙂

Vic

I love that Osafa always sings a little tune that lets us know exactly how old he is 😂 Used to Love You by John Legend is kind of a sleeper these days the ones who know, know.

Makayla

It’s almost like they weren’t aware. Like they didn’t know 😒😒😒..

Stayci Staxx

Its almost like thats where being made AWARE COMES IN 😒😒😒😒

MickBBrick

If ya'll noticed, the grandma calling her grandson Louis is supposed to be a hint of her actually talking to Lucifer. There's a really good video describing every hidden symbol and whatnot in this movie.

KennethLu

midsommar is hilariously scary to me and longlegs could be a little better script wise but both are good horror movie to me Hereditary is one of the most terrifying film I've seen in a while Toni Collette should've been nominated for her performance in hereditary.

MickBBrick

I'm pretty sure there's a theory that there never was a Charlie to begin with. That demon was probably already placed in her while Granny was breastfeeding her before the movie even began.

Keke

The brother is wrong for leaving her on her own but at the end the of the day, he’s not her guardian and their parents—specifically the mom—should’ve never made him take her to the party. Actually, she should have made him stay home bc he’s also a minor and that was excuse my French, piss-poor parenting. The mom is more to blame to me, plus the parents are the adults and should be making responsible decisions regarding their underage children. Even if he is an older teen, he’s still a child and they’re his guardians too.

Bianca Eze

LEMME TELL YOU!! I LITERALLY CANNOT WATCH THAT MOVIE EVER AGAIN 😭😂

Bianca Eze

For all of those recommending Midsommar, I feel like that should be 1/31 horror/thriller/suspense films for the month of October, 😈

Cindy G

Von: So death is hereditary for them....? ⚜️: Death is hereditary for everybody.

KennethLu

Bro don’t even know how unintentionally funny he is🤣

KennethLu

She should’ve been nominated she was pretty good in Knive out as well which edn also reacted to already on the channel if you have seen it yet it a really fun one as well.

KennethLu

That a great suggestion and if you want to make a suggestion click on your membership and upgrade it to vip member to suggestion any 1 movie 2 hour or under a month and if you want to suggest something longer you have to upgrade to Ultimate tier which have no limit on how long the 1 suggestion for the month is once you’re done checking out follow this link to the submission form and the rest is self explanatory looking forward to seeing that movie reacted by EDN that actually a fun watch I think the crew will like it too. Here the link to the submission form. https://forms.gle/KRPqaZatmAKn1UYM7

KennethLu

That scene where the grandma show up in the dark corner will forever haunt me I can’t help but having all the light in my kitchen on when I wake up to go get water at night🤣 but it ok it just a movie god watching over you and will protect you from anything let alone a movie demon🤜👻🤛

2026-09-22 04:00 Saw this in theaters when it first came out and that car scene with Charlie wrecked everyone in the theater. Most horror movies don't phase me but this one definitely got to me. Which is why I love it. This is def one of the best modern horror movies and it raised the bar for future horror movies to try to beat. There's a bunch of Youtube videos on things people potentially miss while watching this. But like someone already said, at 58:32 the paint spills without her knocking it over. And at 2:04:22 there are dozens of cult members surrounding the house at night.

Pavel Radev

Nice, Hope we get a Sons of Anarchy soon though.

Keke

54:01 Aunt Lydia, what are you doing here

Les Rodriguez

She's probably way cooler with it than you are and now she's a grown woman. She can defend herself. No need to virtue signal.

flexluthor

I know God got me but idk man this film got a dark energy attached to it lol i used to be like it’s just a movie and it could def just be a coincidence but no joke bro every time ive rewatched something unfortunate happens to me soon after lol. I last watched like 2 years ago and got into a car accident the same week that set me back pretty hard. Before that I watched another time and I don’t remember exactly what happened I just remember it was so bad it made me start thinking I probably need to stop watching this joint lol

Les Rodriguez

Still, Charlie said she didn't want to go and Annie wrote that off and completely violated Peters agency by forcing that situation. There are other options if she wants to facilitate that relationship between her kids. Ultimately, she's a bloody coward who lives in denial, fear of life, and dodges accountability like she is Floyd Mayweather. She isn't "juggling" anything. She is living her life, just as her husband is. The tragedy of the movie is that this happenened to them because they were spineless cowards but mostly because, as the movie introduces in the beginning, there was nothing they could do to change anything. They were up against forces that they didn't have the slightest idea on how to identify nor combat.

Les Rodriguez

Charlie sort of new and sort of didn't. The kicker is that Charlie was NEVER Charlie. Her soul for evicted at her birth and she's just kind of been in limbo or in the backseat of her own body. "Paimon" lived in Charlie since she was an infant.

Les Rodriguez

How does Louis and Lucifer relate at all?

Les Rodriguez

Yeah you were wrong. But still SORT of right. Peter didn't "die" from physial trauma so much as his soul was so traumatized it chucked a deuce whole Paimon was moving in. He had simply gone through too much for his mind and spirit to handle

Les Rodriguez

That is basically confirmed throughout the entire movie.

Les Rodriguez

The craziest thing (and that's saying something) is that at the end Paimon was like "who even are you people???".

LaughingGemini

When Peter jumped he died.....but ok

Kinsie💕

Y’all should react to the visit 2015❤️

Nadia Blackmon

Oof you are so right about that. I remember thinking “where the fuck is her EpiPen??” 100% failure on the parents for sure. The parents are not great parents, although Mama is definitely the worst in this scenario. What I think makes it the most interesting is seeing her flaws and seeing her past, understanding how her personality got from point A to point B, and still cringing at her being a train wreck of a person.

Nadia Blackmon

I mean, sure there are other options. But in a version of this that didn’t end in a child’s head being torn of by a light pole or a son being what she thought he was instead of what he actually was, this was still also an option. Obviously it was a risk taken that really, REALLY didn’t pay off but if everything worked out like it was supposed to (which would have made a boring as hell movie lol), it would have just been a normal parental choice (my kids need to hang out and I know my son won’t risk his sister so here’s me not forcing him to stay at home and allowing him a social life as well as giving him an opportunity to show me he can be a good kid - and here’s me facilitating social engagement with other people for my loner daughter [also, distracting her from her grief over the grandmother] with a chaperone). Like, in a vacuum this is just mediocre (not malicious or necessarily neglectful) parenting that ended in tragedy. (Although where the fuck was the EpiPen, that’s just a hard stop in parental stupidity, no question about that). Also, her being a cowardly person doesn’t mean she isn’t still a human woman juggling a lot of shit in her life. The two things are not mutually exclusive. You don’t stop being a person when you become a parent and I think that was kind of the point to a lot of aspects of her character.

Jojo

Adison is wild

Chrissy

Yes, loved Knives Out! Might be time to watch it again soon.

This film in my opinion is way better then midsommar..I'd like to see insidious or black phone

Crazy Taco

To fill yall in on one aspect thats easy to miss the Stuff ol girls smears on grannies lips is a black Herb called Dittany of Crete and the cult uses it to make the family more susceptible to dark magics it is also what annie picks out of her teeth after drinking the tea at Joan's you can also see the black herb symbols embroidered on Joan's Welcome matt there is a bottle of it in grannies stuff and one of the photos on the fridge shows granny feeding Charlie as a baby with the black herb in the bottle

Not today

Can you all please watch Strange Darling, The retaliators and God is a bullet

Temeculous

The mom forced her to go, charlie apparently has never been given an EpiPen...she would, most likely been fine. Peter wouldnt have been driving as fast. Perhaps she wouldnt have died at that moment. Unless the sigil on the telephone pole was inevitable.

destiny

Which is even more reason to not make fun of people😭😭😭😭

destiny

Charlie was born with the demon inside her so they was cooked from the beginning. Everything that happened was just a lead up to the ritual. I’m shocked yall watched this lol this movie had me scared to sleep for a few days

Josh Calvert

If you ever rewatch there is so many signs of the cult influencing things all the time Dirt on the floor constantly, doors opening, the mail getting messed with, during the group therapy season the older lady is staring at the mom before she even starts talking. The night shot of the house before Peter wakes up with the mom in the corners you can see like 5 naked cult members in the back ground in the establishing shot Notice a new detail each time

⭐Gold Sticker

Is there any way to turn down the volume of your microphones so it doesn't completely drain out the movie? DID is dissociative identity disorder. Is when person leaves there body mentally. I have been diagnosed I remember doing it for the first time when I was about 4 years old. It's often associated with child trauma and the brains coping mechanism. Also I know I already requested CRASH but I have to request Identity Theory.

Bianca Eze

DID = Dissociative Identity Disorder, formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder for anyone who didn’t know. 😌
