I just wrapped up Season 1 of both Power & Bridgerton and since a few of you have been asking about this Lantern series I decided to grab a cohost who was available and check out the new series. I figured the show was going to be good but I didn't know it was going to be THIS good. More uploads are on the way! Hope y'all enjoy our uncut reaction to the pilot episode!

Kim Cottingham

What happened to the Son's reaction. And Osafa?

Crazy Taco

I have super mixed feelings about this show its funny, dark, great characters but im a big Green Lantern Comic fan and the vibe, setting, and lore couldn't be farther from accurate lol

Crazy Taco

There are thousands of lanterns, there are also different color lanterns each color is dominated by a different emotion a lantern draws on to make their constructs Green is Will, Yellow is Fear, Orange is Greed, Red is Rage, Blue is Hope, Indigo is Compassion, Violet is Love, then there is White for Life, Black for Death, and Ultraviolet which represents unspoken or unresolved emotions. Each emotion has a cosmic entity that was created in the beginning of time for example the one for Willpower is a giant space whale named Ion and every being in the universe draws its will power from Ion

Crazy Taco

The ring works for anyone with strong Willpower

Digital Alikin

The guy you recognized Addison was from the Walking Dead. He was the guy with the hat chewing gum that threatened to snap Judiths neck n Tyrese beat the breaks off him 😂

Mr Corleone

The series we didnt expect but we All for it, this is EDN first DC reaction BTW, TWO Thumbs Up 👍 👍

Mr Corleone

The only problem you cant create a stack of Benjamins from it. Lol 😆 I think thats the part they want it for it.

Kadeem

Lanterns is Peak 🔥🔥

Dorian Airhart

Are we still getting the Saw reaction ?

Andrew Jones

I know this movie got mixed reviews but the Green lantern (2011) Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan is a good movie to watch because it gives you a great understanding of the Green Lanterns and some lore.

Roland Giles

Just a nerdy little tidbit that may be helpful, in my opinion. - Maybe you knew, maybe you didn’t. - But in case you didn’t, the last Superman movie (2025) and this series SHARE the same universe. It’s all part of this new DCU (DCUniverse). Anyway, there’s a Green Lantern in the movie - a different one. This doesn’t spoil anything with the series. But there IS a slight connection to the series. If you watch the new Superman (2025) movie before you get further into the series, you’ll find out. You’ll probably enjoy the mystery and lore of the series a little more. As someone else in the comments stated, the ARE other Lanterns, and there have been other Lanterns of Earth since Hal Jordan, the O.G.. …And then there’s that Ryan Reynolds “Green Lantern” movie from 2011 that has nothing to do with the series at all - but WILL give you SOME insight on the Lanterns and Lantern lore. *siiigh* But it IS a Ryan Reynolds - PRE-Deadpool - movie, with all his RyanReynold’isms. Not the BEST iteration of the character, or even the best DC movie, but it’s entertaining enough… I guess.

Athasin

Great show to react to.

Andrew Jones

Not just that. You have to be chosen

Let’s gooo

Mr Corleone

Facts lets get some DC love in here, cause Marvel got a long way to go at this point.. 👉 👈

3zzzmixyy

good there’s only like 1 green lantern comic that’s actually good tbh the rest are really meh it’s good that their doing their own twist on things it’s how it should be gets ppl asking questions instead of just knowing right off the bat where the show is tryna go gotta keep in mind that their budget ain’t superb for this series so it’s gonna be more grounded

Crazy Taco

Nah man GL Blackest Night, Sinestro Corps war vol 1 and 2, Green Lantern War Journal, GL Rebirth are all great and Scott Snyder's Justice Leage run has some great GL stuff And I respect your opinion but couldn't disagree more one of my main issues is that its "Grounded" and taking place almost entirely on earth

Athasin

"Where do I know that guy from?" He's the cannibal who wanted to eat baby Judie and Tyreese still refused to kill him. Edit: You also know little Noah. He played little Alex in that movie Weapons that you watched with Brandon, Safa, and Asa.

Athasin

Greatest first episode of any show I've ever seen? Naaaaaah the winner of that is "The things I do for love" *fly Bran fly*

Twee-G

J. Alphonse aka Lil Murda on a role. This, and just saw the trailer for If I Go Will They Miss Me 🔥🔥🔥

Jonathan Blaze

It's interesting doing a rewatch after having seen all the episodes. The first thing Hal says as the sheriff approaches is "here's the answer to your mystery right here". They were telling you from the beginning.
