Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, has a magical enchantment that allows only someone deemed worthy to lift and wield it. Someone who isn’t worthy may still block or deflect it under certain circumstances, but that doesn’t mean they can pick it up or use it. Deflecting the hammer and wielding it are two different things.

I will say if y'all enjoyed the movie, you've got to play God of War 2018 and God of War: Ragnarok. Both games really explain the lore of the 9 realms

It’s not a strength or weight thing. The hammer is based on an enchantment. Only the person with the mantle of Thor can wield it. Him hanging it up makes sense because the hanger isn’t alive 😂😂. It can be deflected because it isn’t a strength thing.

I think they've mentioned it about 6 times in the mcu movies now but the reason they can't pick up the hammer is because they're not worthy. Not because the hammer is heavy

Fun Fact - IRL Stellan Skarsgard who plays Dr. Selvig is the father of Bill Skarsgard who plays Pennywise in IT and Welcome to Derry. I think I heard Welcome to Derry being mentioned at some point in the video and it made me think of that.

Thor isnt at fault for his mothers death, Jane possesses something strong enough to destroy all of the realms. Asgard would have taken her one way or the other. Earth would have been no fight for the elves if she had stayed they would have came, destroyed the earth, taken the Aether, and destroyed all of the other realms. Asgard holds all of the biggest threats to the realms because they are the strongest to fight against the evils they come from like the Tessaract.
