2026-11-05 18:00 So the original ending was the 2nd one where Will Smith lives. It tested poorly with audience who found it too slow and poetic. Being that humans are such simpletons they wanted something more high octane and climactic. So a couple weeks before the movie came out they reshoot the ending to what became the theatrical version. Funny thing is I feel like in this day and age the original ending will play a lot better. Fun fact: a sequel has been confirmed starring Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan and it will follow the original scrapped ending.

Seeing this movie as a kid I said will smith was the best actor ever. I still stand on that!

Dalvin Brown

This movie is based on a book and If I’m not mistaken, the alternate ending is more book accurate. It was supposed to show that Will character was the monster the whole time from the view point of the infected ones. That’s how the author of the book wrote his ending with the revelation that he was the hero and villain at the same time.

Christian Perez

So I might be wrong, but I think right before Will reveals the butterfly tattoo on the subject's shoulder, the "alpha" or whatever smeared the shape of a butterfly on the window using his palm. Maybe it was intentional to communicate that his wife was the subject he was testing on. That's some crazy palm drawing skills if so though 🤣

Hancock next 💃🏽

Spwn

The reverse give off is absolutely insane. That's a brave brother.

David James

Just like The Descent, not a fan of changing endings to test better. Reads like they don't believe in their story and its more just a product.

Noelle🤍

no the dog scene gets to me too everytime. Wills acting in this, top tier 😮‍💨💯

Stayci💕

Okay i am legend 😏👏🏽

Stayci💕

Lmfaoooo Addison covering and uncovering face has me howling😭😭😭😭

Layla

That’s why I love Von he not scared or afraid to show his emotions 🙂 btw I love this movie

Biene Maja

What's your beef with Bob Marley? 😭

Patrick Saona

I want to watch y’all reaction but the dog scene makes me cry every time

Rockkzilla TV

Enemy Of The State is probably my favorite Will Smith movie. Its underappreciated

Onlyonebaad

I’m sooo glad I am legend 2 is coming out soon

OnlyPlenty

Memphis came out of Von real quick, “man”

OnlyPlenty

I’d love to see you react to *Running Scared* (2006), starring Paul Walker! It’s an underrated, intense thriller that takes you on one crazy ride. Definitely worth a first-time watch, and I think it would make for a great reaction!

QueequegTheater

I've never seen a single example of test audiences actually having a positive effect on a film.

Dangerous Beauty After Dark

Please react to the movie “ The RIP” all 4 of the guys . I think yall would enjoy that one !!!

Omar Reeves

Especially seven pounds personally

Persa

Can we get an official EDN tote bag that says "It's your boy Von, man"

Katie Davis

This movie is based on: "The Last Man on Earth" from 1964 and the original "I am Legend" novel from the 50s. It's an older black-and-white movie but it's so good and stars Vincent Price. Would be worth watching. Also, less good is "Omega Man," which is another version of this story from 1971

This duo is so good! I love a Von and adison watch!

Fallon

In the original ending, Will was the hero, but in alternate ending, you see he's actually been the bad guy all along.

FindingMyJoi

16:44 I had a dog and I loved her! She accidentally licked my lip once and I could have thrown up 😂🤣

Shari Todd

The creatures in the book were more vampirish than zombieish, if I remember correctly - but it was written over 60 years ago, when zombies were not a big thing yet. The author, Richard Matheson, was one of the best sci-fi/horror writers, did a lot of the best Twilight Zone eps too!

Dalvin Brown

Yea you’re right. The author intended for them to be vampirish. His own take on vampires. Yea I’ve heard he did a lot of good books etc

La Toya Sheri

I thought Michael b Jordan was going to be a part of a sequel. I hope it's true.

La Toya Sheri

Will Smith also is supposed to play in it as well.

Lauren

Now you guys gotta react to the Bob Marley movie 😁

La Toya Sheri

He was in great shape. I wonder if he was in better shape on this or the Ali movie.

La Toya Sheri

My girl from queen of the south. Forgot she is in this. Great show. When yall back on the tv show watching journey I hope yall check that out.

Miranda V

He was pretty swole in iRobot too

Isah Reyes

You guys should watch the movie dead end

x_kaee

He’s definitely one of my favs 💕

Hate6Don
