#0 - The Fool (Patreon)

A damp, dull smell enters your nose. You notice the uncomfortable cold stone floor you’re laid upon. You open your eyes and find yourself in what you can best describe as the bottom of a huge well.

There is no water on the floor, although the moisture in the air and on the stone brick surfaces can be felt easily. Patches of moss climb the walls as high as you can see, disappearing into the darkness above you. The walls and floor are dimly lit by a set of three torches.

Two of the torches have hallways beside them. One of them is completely unlit. You feel chills going down your spine from just looking at it. It feels alien somehow, wrong. The second hallway leads to a door, lit by two red torches on either side.

You do not know where you are. You do not know how you got here. You do not know what you’re doing here. The one thing you DO know, is that you shouldn’t be here. You need to find a way out.
