Hey everyone!

As you can see, I've officially made the switch over to the monthly scheme and I had my last class of my college career last Thursday. I'm very excited to get started on working on DOAS and other games for this Patreon full time, and to kick it off, I'm hosting a game jam over at AOTK!

The 6th is the end of the jam period and once I've selected a winner, they will be featured in a post here. There will also be a people's choice poll on the original thread over at AOTK where everyone can vote on which one they thought was the best. The winner of that poll will be featured alongside my choice in that same post.

As for the payment scheme, the 1st of the month is when the payment will be processed, so if you want to remove your pledge or adjust it to one that is more manageable for a monthly basis, that's the last day to do it! If you need help removing or adjusting a pledge, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll walk you through it!

One last thing, in 2 weeks time from now, on the 13th of May is our first biweekly build for DOAS. Biweekly builds will be available to anyone pledging at or above the $5 level. Regular free builds of DOAS will still be released here and on AOTK, but these will be much less frequent.

I'm super enthusiastic for the future of this Patreon and I see many great things to come! Sorry for the short-ish post today, I'll have more for you next week!

hey, good news, but will this first biweekly build be available for everyone?

Well, I would think this first biweekly build would be almost the size of a regular update due to the long time you've spent developing before deciding on this scheme. I expect future biweekly builds would have noteable added content but maybe add 1 to 10 percent to the game whereas this one seems like it will add one or two whole new areas (towns and such). Did I guess right? :)

You're somewhat right. The first update doesn't add really many new locations, but it adds a good dozen or so new spankings and fleshes out the content in Gulmouth and Norbermark a bit more. New cities are all well and good, but I prefer to do that only after I've filled one city to the brim with content. Also, on another note, there will likely not be any new towns added to DOAS Part 1, since Azzark is a relatively small island and it doesn't make sense for it to have a bunch of settlements. Part 2 takes place on the mainland though, so I'm anticipating a HUGE uptick in the amount of cities there!
