First off: I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I don’t know about you guys, but I have got a good feeling about this year. Maybe it is because after last year and its tribulations, the idea of another year of crisis brings a little too much despair. Or maybe I am simply picking up good vibes in the future. Cope? Premonition? Either way I have a good feeling about this one.

First off: I am so sorry that I have been unavailable for so long. I won’t go into the details but a number of severe issues with my family and my current living situation happened all at the same time along with some major upsets with my day job. They have been resolved, it was just something that happens to all of us. I am hardly unique when it comes to this issue. But in and among these issues I had suffered a severe case of burnout and fatigue. It was to the point I seriously considered giving up. Fortunately I was able to overcome this.

But in addressing this, I realized that the way I was doing things was wrong. As I have mentioned many times before, I have a severe bad habit of wanting to do everything and thinking I have the energy and ability to do so. So for the last while I have been experimenting on my capabilities, what I am able to perform on a weekly basis and what is worthwhile for the king support you guys continue to provide.

I also looked back on the times on what worked the best as well. So based on that as well as my own experimentation, I am doing a reboot of myself and the rewards.

So, I am now SexualYeti once more.

The XenoTiddyBot wasn’t working. It was an attempt at a rebrand, but the issues I was trying to rectify are not branding. They are my own hangups. Besides, Yeti is what I am known for and it is better to build off of that, which I have done with a new mascot.

Also, I know this is going to be unpopular, but I am no longer doing requests as normal rewards. I have tried, but they do not work, at least in a way that is speedy, reliable and fair. I am still going to be doing them, but they are going to be done differently, which I will explain later in this “newsletter”. With that said, I am going to have the rewards be based more heavily on your opinion and feedback in the form of polls and future poll options will be based on suggestions you guys would like as I will send out forms after next week’s rewards. Rewards are going to be weekly one reward piece for each tier each week.

Now for requests: They are going to work similar to commissions in that they have to be paid for outside of the normal rewards. I will be posting an announcement with five request slots that are available with a link to a form. The reason I am doing this is because there was far too much confusion with them being part of the reward tiers and it always resulted in me being burned out and overworked. The rules and FAQ will be included when they are announced. Requests will be available for all Patrons regardless of tier. I am sorry that something that was once part and parcel of the tiers is now its own separate thing but for my own sake as well as all of you, if I am going to do them they need to be their own thing.

I will be posting the requests I did previously. Once those are posted and I will looking at getting the new request board up and running starting next week.

I will be posting the polls today. They will be open for 24 hours so I can start on them on ASAP.

I am sorry it has been so quiet, but things will be getting loud now!
