January 2026 Project Update (Patreon)

Okay, for the first time in a long while, this update post will have several parts to it, yippie!

Part 1: Objection.LOL Project

So the asset making is coming along, its a little hard to focus on them but I am doing at least 1 set of assets a day tho I should definitely strive for more consistently. However, what I got done are the Judge, Phoenix and Edgeworth (mostly)

I think I've reached a point where I don't wanna go through the effort of animating their mouth flapping for talk sprites so I am giving myself that grace. I'll still go for animating their desk slams but that is the extent of it lmao. I'll proceed with Gumshoe afterwards mostly so I can leave the two main courses for last~

Part 2: Exploding Chess

I don't really much else to update on this except that I start making the effort of learning how to efficiently code a chess game. Its not working out too well cause all the tutorials are for tiny assets and my assets are a bit bigger than theirs. So its a bit of a struggle

Also got Pawn's stuffed stage sketched. She only has 1 stage, unlike everyone else who has 2, because her limit is 1 and if she eats 2, she goes boom!

I wanna focus on trying to make the chess part of the game done first before I proceed to fuck with the code and such and try to make my game plausible.

I am close to just checking the Chess Engine to see if that'll be easier lmao

Part 3: Lexi Animation

Its a project I want to get done on February so letting you know its something I am putting focus into more and more and since you're my patrons, I can show y'all what it is

Its for a Newgrounds collab where people animate on beat. Its gonna be 8 secondss long. Sounds like fun, so that's why I am doing it lmao

This is mostly to explain what happened if this takes away too much time from any of my other projects, you have been told
