Fel DDR Painting (Patreon)

So I made this painting in June of Felicia playing DDR. I used to love playing that game, it helped get me into fitness when I was a teenager. The theme for this year's Fur-eh is Retro barkade so I made this piece for the artshow. :) I included some quick photos I took of my process:

First up is the pencil sketch

Sketch done up in ballpoint pen

Added liquid frisket to cover the areas I did not want paint on

Painted a background with watercolor, using salt and other things to get interesting textures

and then went in and painted Felicia herself. <3
