Each summer one of Felicia's long time clients takes him away for a week in the desert and a crazy adventure at the annual Burning Horse festival.

I hope you guys enjoy this month's concept art, I was inspired by some beautiful places I have been recently ;)

Here is an alternate version, let me know which you like better :)

Much Love!

Ooh, I like this! I think I like the coloring in the top version a bit better.

Aayrick

Looks really cool 😀 Now, I just need to get to that festival. Been to burning man once, was awesomely insane

Archiva Unicornis

So neat Brush. And I'm a little jealous too. I can imagine what happens at Burning Horse, and the countdown style buildup. This piece is a study in colors and lighting. Very nice!

Crissa Kentavr

I like the cooler colors as it seems more like what is glowing in the background. Seems like a place Felicia wouldn't need a client to sponsor, from what I know of the RL version. The playa provides, especially to shiny participants!

Cohasset Alicorn

I would probably say the coloring in the top version blends and contrasts a little better. It looks like you had a lot of fun working on this one.

Brushfire

Thanks for you input, yah that is what I was leaning towards too :)

Brushfire

Oh man, I am jealous! I haven't made it to the big burn yet just some smaller events.

Brushfire

Yah Felicia has to have a week to sleep when he gets back from it! XD

Brushfire

Hey thanks your your input, I am leaning towards the bluer one too. Well, as much as he is a sparkly pony, Fel doesn't want to be a sparkle pony so he makes sure he packs whatever he needs to survive, his client just helps get him there, and has a really good time with him. ;P

Brushfire

I did, I wish I had more time to spend on it, but there is always so much to do in summer. thanks for your input, it looks like everyone likes the bluer one as well. That was my preference as well, good to hear I am not totally out in left field! XD

Archiva Unicornis

Now I'm wishing the app would let me se the alternate image.

Caerdwyn

Now that's a backside in need of a nice friendly swatting. Only the very best for Best Unicorn!

You really should go if you can, especially with a good group of friends. I know there's various furry groups that get together to go. Might also see if there's any local groups of artists or just groups from where you're from you could go with. Tough part is getting tickets.
