I just love that there’s a board collie just like you would on a real farm.

Good boy, Mr. Pickles! I know his name isn't mr. Pickles... I love how he warns about the intruder with a lot of barking. Knowing that, I'm assuming every animal type character can use the sounds and calls associated with their species. Kinda adds a nice touch to the story. Like seasoning a meal.

Are boarders all satanic as well? Or is that just at one farm in particular?

Interesting patterning the collie has as well as the personality and vocalization you gave him. I'm already ready for what the next page has to offer!

I had a boarder lab mix. Man she had such an attitude but was to smart for her own good.

Yah all the border collies I have owned over the years have had spots in their white areas, maybe its because I always end up with border collie crosses, anyway I wanted to make this guy have those spots too cause they are so cute. Here is an example on a real dog, although this is not one of mine: http://www.2ndchancebordercollierescue.org/images/Bella.jpg

Not a bad picture at all. My grandfather had a border collie until his dementia became so that he had to go stay in a long-term memory care facility but I don't remember if she had spots in her white areas. I'm not even fully sure where a picture of her would be anymore.
