I have created a few roughly sketched little mini comics this month for the speedpaint sketchbook, this one was the most relevant to where the comic is currently at so I thought I would slap a little color on it and share it. Bal and Xan have a long history of visits to the guard house to distract Whiskey, who is always trying to hard to be a good boy.

Here are a couple of other pictures I have done about this situation one from 2010 and one from 2015, if you have followed me on FA for a long time you have probably seen these two before:

It's neat that you've had these ideas for so many years (love the horse in the background of the 2nd pic). I admit I've been tempted to commission you for something like that first pic between Bal, Xan, and Coh.

Those two seem to like trouble! I really like the art style of the last two, are those done traditionally or on an art tablet?

Brushfire

Yes, these two are done in pencil/ink and the other is done in water colour. I'm a bit out of practice in those mediums at the moment, I have been primarily doing digital art for a while now.

Moscow the Mule

In the second one, I forgot to mention how I liked the almost proportional package, and the horse saying hello in the background :) in general, a really good piece. There seems to be a lot of thought and effort in every last detail. Thank you for that, it honestly made my day.

Brushfire

yah that one did turn out really well, unlike some of my old art XD
