Very cute :) Come to think of it... it only now dawns me that The Stable has a surprising male/female ratio. I mean... Zoey doesn’t count as she ist he new girl… okay, there is Minx but we haven’t seen her since May 2015 and she hardly made an impression back then. So that leaves us with Brush. Other than that? We have a pure male main cast: Vic, Fel, Balios and Xanthos It makes you almost ask if The Stable has a certain audiance. But my actual question is: Do you find it more difficult to fleshen out female characters than male ones? Or is it maybe a territorial thing that you find it hard to establish other strong female cast members next to Brush? I am really curious about your process of story development/writing here :)

The coloration on Bal's phallus is certainly interesting since it's so exact. I also think it's fair to say they get a lot of hits in their web-programing :)

It's an interesting question and I'm curious how Brush will answer it. While it very well could be in The Stable's world that it draws a more male interested crowd so you have a higher proportion of homosexual and bisexual individuals than in the main population (similar to the Furry Community), I also get the impression from Brushfire that Brush sees females as more of a direct challenge to her than competition in a dom/sub way so she is naturally more hostile to females.... but only Brush would know for sure.

You are tackling the question from the story point of view - which is great. However I was looking at it more from the perspective of the author: Brush has been the author's main fursona for many years. So I think it is safe to say there is a strong bond between the fictionous character and the author. Now that I am thinking of it I come to realize: When I write a story, especially an erotic one, that includes an alter ego of mine, I find it hard to add male characters to the cast. I am not entirely sure why that is the case. Most likely it may be because (as you mention it) I see them as competition. Hah... I guess I have to revisit my own process of story writing. But anyway, I am looking forward to hear from Brushfire (the author) on it.

Hahaha, I am just loving you guy's interpretation of my cast. Okay, so I could lie and say something about competing females characters, or appealing to my perceived audience, or what have you. But the honest complete truth is that I am naturally very hetero and I have a tendency to draw what I find sexy, which is fit, sexy, either masculine or feminine horsey guys. So when it came time to make my comic I just took all my favorite characters and lo and behold it was mainly sexy fit pony boys. As you guys know Brush used to be my main fursona, but she kind of evolved on her own and became her own character, she deviated from my personality and then I created Zoey, who is the total opposite of her, if you combine both of them you sort of get where my personality is, so I guess what I did was create two females characters I could relate too and then surrounded them by sexy pony boys and was pretty happy with the outcome. Only later did I realize how weird it was to have a brothel with only two females. Haha Well I have been trying to remedy the situation a bit, The Stable is a large facility, with close to 50 employees, so far I have only explored a few of them online, I have some more characters coming, including a bunch more female characters. I have at least two who will be introduced in chapter 3 :)
