On hold until other projects move forward

Salazzle (P0k3m0n): Now that I’m done with my part on Competitive Edge, I’ll be working on the one-shot this month.

Elora, Cynder & Ember (Reignited Flames): I was ready to work on it in January, but it seems the artist has completely vanished. I haven’t heard from her since the 1st of January. I noticed she was trying to raise money for an emergency toward the end of December. I don’t know if she managed to do so… I just hope she’s okay.

Alopex (My priority): Having finished my part on Jealousy, I’ll be working on the one-shot this month.

Kitty Softpaws (Puss in Boots): I'm gonna work on the one shot this month.

Porsha Crystal (Sing 2): Planning to work on the reference sheets, and probably the illustration as well.

Belladonna (Sword/Trials of Mana): Planning to work on the reference sheets, and probably the illustration as well.

Starters (P0k3m0n): We plan to work on an illustration this month. It’ll be our second “choose your own adventure” story, like LOKA. More info in March.Currently on discussions:

IMPORTANT NOTE

Over the past few years, I’ve given you many polls to vote for characters. Some are obviously more popular than others, and of course, those are the ones that usually end up getting comics. Pretty logical.

That said, I’d like to give less popular characters a chance as well. To do that, I plan to create a sort of Wish List. The idea is to list all the characters I’d be interested in making a comic about, for which I already have ideas. I’ll also mention whether an artist is already interested in each project.

You’d then be invited to comment if you’d like to support one (or more) of those projects. I’d keep track of the number of people interested and add a number next to each character so you can follow the level of interest.

6 supporters is usually the minimum for me to greenlight a project

10 supporters is the ideal number

Anything above that is just a bonus

This way, even if a character isn’t very popular overall, dedicated fans willing to support her could still get a chance to see a comic happen… assuming I can find an artist willing to draw it, of course. Artists are the ones who ultimately decide which characters they want to work on. Still, knowing that funding is potentially already there would make finding artists much easier.

Please keep in mind that even if a project reaches the required number of supporters, it doesn’t mean I’d start working on that comic right away. As I’m sure you understand, we still have a schedule to follow. It simply means the project would be added to that schedule, once a slot opens up.

I plan to release that wish list sometime during the second half of the month. I still have some catching up to do after all that time lost in December.
