The only thing Peppy could teach Krystal is how to "Do a barrel roll!"

Supersonicclank

So cute ^^ aw! Of course Peppy would be the tutor XD

DEVIANT

Left handers unite! Krystal's so adorable 🥰

Jem

Telepathy can help her translate sounds. Can't help her with the written word.

Goblin Face

but could telepathy give her other people's knowledge of written language?

Goblin Face

She's even got my hand writing

Lummh & Co

That's actually a good question I didn't consider

VibeZerd

Haha so cute

Jem

My idea is that if there's someone else around, she can use their mind as a translator, but she can't just absorb their knowledge for herself to use without a mental link. Peppy's little education here is to help her in case she on a mission on her own.

Lummh & Co

Yeah, that's kinda the idea. Besides, I'm going with the idea that she has a mental link only with Fox. For the others, she only gets their emotions and vague stuff like that.

Jem

Yeah, that makes sense. The way I've imagined it is that Krystal can "tune in" to a person's mind like a radio frequency and use that to interpret languages and text she doesn't know herself, but her mental link with Fox is a truly intimate one where they share a full two-way private channel.
