Quality Wool socks and a warm pair of boots. Remember, just one layer. If you wear too many on layers your feet, it will cause constriction and sweat which will make your feet colder

Seconding warm socks! REI genuinely makes some great socks. You can have the nicest winter boots in the world and you'll still need warm socks in the cold.
