When Wonkyu said he was seeing sides of his ex he hadn't known, I don't think he meant it with any ulterior motive. I think he was just saying he didn't know his ex that well, and as an ex, he doesn't like that feeling. And obviously, the sides he's talking about aren't in the sense of "your bad sides," but just in general. Discovering parts of your girlfriend you've never seen before in this kind of context must be really frustrating.
