Thanks for reacting to episode 4! I loved rewatching this episode with you both! I know! The political situation is really complicated. I was also hella confused the first time I saw it. But I can try and explain it. These are the main things you need to know so far: 1. De Wet, you are right the elder political leader (Sooho’s dad) is North Korean. The other two political leaders (the older one is Youngro’s dad and the younger one is cheating on his wife if you remember) are South Korean. The South Korean leaders belong to the ANSP party. They are willing to pay the North Korean leader a sum of money as long as he helps their party in the South Korean election. This episode they were trying to negotiate how much money the North would get. Youngro’s dad doesn’t want to pay such a huge amount because it might leave their party with nothing. However, the cheating political leader says that there is a secret fund they can take from. You will find out more details about the political leaders and their situation as you watch and it will get easier to understand don’t worry. 2. Now, the people doing the interrogation like Black Tiger, Hanna (the girl who is a part of Black Tiger’s team) and the others that invaded the dorm at the end of this episode are agents that work for the ANSP party. They are looking for communist spies. However, if you remember, in episode 3 they were told by the party not to get involved in looking for these specific spies anymore. Black Tiger doesn’t want to do that and that’s why he is still trying to chase down Sooho. 3. Now, the pastor was actually Sooho in disguise. The person he was talking to is Professor Han. Professor Han is a very important person who belongs to the party that is running against the ANSP party in the election (the Opposition party). Currently, the North Korean spies' mission is to make Professor Han defect to the North. They try to convince him by telling him about how his son is there right now, and then eventually they kidnap him. It was mentioned in earlier episodes but the reason the North wants Professor Han is to make the Opposition party look bad. If Professor Han goes to the North, then the ANSP party can provide evidence that the Opposition party is working with North Korea and that would then turn the public against the Opposition party and it would help the ANSP party in the election. Professor Han's son is not the spy that took cyanide by the way. You will just have to keep watching to see what happens, but the plot does get better! I hope that simplifies things :)

ohhhhhhh... Firstly thank you so much for your support ! Secondly this comments made my head clear for real. I understand now how they play the political game. So that's why everything is always corresponding to the north due to Sooho's farther playing with the south korean party... Anyways I can see many things go wrong now ( Jisoo's dad , Sooho's dad, Jisoo + sooho... oh no )

Amy Cortez
