i don't know which one i'd rather be in the situation, yeongue who's facing them and watching them walk by him but knows if they don't pick him or junghwan who knows nothing and just waiting for someone to show up for him 😭 both are so sad. i was so happy for yeongue when i first watched this and then it cut to junghwan all alone and i was like WHYYYY is this show so mean

also yeah the whole pick-your-teammate-sike-your-teammate-is-actually-competition-and-one-of-you-will-be-eliminated is so cruel.. they picked their friends, the people they wanted to perform with most and then yg does some snake shit like that. it's literally that one episode of squid games before squid games was a thing

last comment promise! - jaehyuk had such a hard time on ygtb and even after when he received hate for getting picked to join treasure. jaehyuk/ junghwan/hyunsuk/ and the CIX guys (seunghoon, byoung gon) arguably had the toughest time in the show and i just feel for them when i watch these

yeah, I did notice how jaehyuk had a very hard time to stand out as well as Jihoon who has not been present as much as I expected since he is a leader

What happens is that Jihon stood out behind the scenes, but in the last episodes he stood out a lot, since he is always Hyunsuk's complement. it is said that jihon was the leader of magnum and hyunsuk the leader of treasure, but since in the end they joined in treasure the two are the leaders, mom and dad.

I remember watching this when it came out & this round was hard. But I am not sure why folks were & are so surprised at eliminations. They had to start at some point; no finals with 29 guys still in the mix, right? And the choice: eliminate 1 from each team or have the teams go against each other and then eliminate a team. You can bet that some of the stronger teams would have gone for a "weaker" team & then we would have lost some of our most promising talents much earlier. I can't imagine Treasure without Jaehuk or our baby Jung hwan, whose would have been seen as easy targets. I am just happy that the eliminated boys were either brought back in the end or found "homes" in other groups, who needed big talents.
