What the world needs now — more than ever — is the triumphant return of this ridiculously handsome, eco-warrior and everything he stands for.

That’s right, the one and only CAPTAIN PLANET has officially touched down!

Our blue-skinned, green-mulleted hero from the legendary CAPTAIN PLANET and the PLANETEERS (which first saved the planet on September 15, 1990) is November’s second PATRON SAINT COMMISSION, proudly requested by the brilliant LUX ET-UMBRA.

LUX, you absolute legend... this was an inspired choice! The Captain has always been iconic, but those bold colors, that confident stance, that heroic jawline… let’s just say he was practically begging to be welcomed into my personal hall of beefy, generously endowed champions. Thank you for the perfect suggestion!

So here he is in his classic outfit. Those itsy-bitsy red briefs and chest harness were already doing the Lord’s work, but I’ve made a few strategic “adjustments” to ensure he fits right in with the rest of my larger-than-life studs.

Spoiler alert: that legendary planet-saving power isn’t the only thing that’s Earth-shatteringly huge. Those famous shorts are fighting a losing battle trying to contain the Captain’s massive, all-natural renewable resource. Stick around for the full reveal and watch him go full “Planeteer power” in ways the 90s cartoon definitely didn’t air before noon.

The world may be in peril, but at least the scenery just got a whole lot greener… and thicker!
