Good morning, my beautiful patrons.

Let's kick the week off with a hottie from the anime smash hit, ONE PIECE. Of course, I'm referring to the dashing and swashbuckling RORONOA ZORO, who was requested by the wonderful Peter Sommer.

Peter wanted him to be Fillionized as much as possible, so I gave him my spin on his costume and overall look, but I wanted to retain ZORO's anime essence -- the iconic face that was created by the amazing Eiichiro Oda, and to have him be instantly recognizable as the character we've all come to know and love.

I made several versions of ZORO, because honestly, I just couldn't stop myself. I found I was so inspired drawing him, and the versions just kept on flowing. Retailoring his costume to be more revealing was an absolute blast, and I loved getting to imagine this iconic character as if he were part of my universe.

So thank you, Peter, for this wonderful request and for giving me the opportunity to play with another great classic character of pop culture.
