The great old ones lurk

Sleeping, yet watching

Denizens of the deep

Calling, waiting to be heard

Biding, plotting

Until you, the unsuspecting

Head the call, follow the word

Descending deep into the murky depths

Of Madness and the utter absurd

MAKO!!!!! I’ve missed him; him… and that wonderfully shaped phallus of course 😝😈🙈 So, is it horrors of the watery deep… or of the internal deep… 🤭 I just love that you stripped him of his necklace btw! It’s one of those little details, that carries such an undeniable eroticism. It’s like he wasn’t ‘fully naked’ with it on, but by removing it you’ve completely laid him bare… 😮‍💨🔥🥵🔥😮‍💨 p.s. Is this one a relative of Cossack or Void???

It's really great to hear that MAKO is a welcome addition this month. It's been a HOT MINUTE since I last drew him, and I thought it would be really cool to include him in this Halloween series. I pretty much intended it to be horrors of the deep sea, but I suppose "internal" horror works too. My love for H.P. Lovecraft is pretty much the inspiration behind this beastie - not so much Void or Cossak - but I love that about art -- it can be interpreted many different ways. As for stripping him of the necklace, I LOVE that you noticed that detail. You're SO RIGHT -- he wasn't fully naked until it was removed, and I think that the "fully nude" version makes him seem even more vulnerable and at the mercy of this creature, which of course I love and was completely going for! HA HA HA! Well, as always, it's a TOTAL PLEASURE to read from you, my dear JT! I truly love that you enjoyed this piece so much. Thank you SO MUCH for the really sweet comments and observations! Great Big Hugs + kisses to you!! XOXOX 🤗😘😍💖😊💖

This creature is awesome! It has such a unique design, it`s mesmerizing, but also looks like it could tear/slice/poison Marko at any second now, if it doesn`t get what it wants. Thank gods it only wants to feel some smooth skin and body warmth, let`s hope he leaves it at that... Great to see that Marko and Zahn are included in this month, I didn`t notice their long absence until now, glad you chose the Halloween season to bring some characters back from their slumber!

I'm SO HAPPY you enjoyed MAKO and ZAHN and their perils. Mako's creature was especially fun to design. I wanted something at once beautiful and kinda creepy, and I really appreciate your comments about it, too. I thought this would be a good chance to draw guys I don't usually draw and who we don't see often. I'm really so pleased everyone seemed to enjoy this aspect so much! As always, it's a real pleasure to read your comments, dear Arkid43. Thank you again so much for taking the time to write! It's greatly appreciated! XOXOX ❤️😘❤️😍

The file names say Deimos instead of Mako.
