Hello friends, 

As I've been unwell and recording has had to be postponed, I drew up a little watercolour of Clara from the Pirate Queen series. It still needs some work in photoshop but I wanted to share!

This is wildly close to a character from a story I wrote nearly a decade ago xD Though that story had more dragons. Cool art!

I’ve seen your art before, but just… are you just a real life Miyazaki character who paints flowers and pretty women in presumably a cottage surrounded by acres of sunflowers? Careful with your straw hat in the wind. (The painting is very pretty)

OK so, I preface this by saying English is not my first language and it might come out as harsher than it is meant to be. The captain's lover is described as a bigger woman, and the captain does a great job reassuring her about this. In your drawing, Clara doesn't look like she's chubby/curvy/big (I don't know what word is adapted here) and I am a bit disappointed because I think you do a great job writing characters that are not as stereotypical as expected, and I think you should own it in the visual displays you make too. Please, this girl needs thick thighs and all, Daisy 😇
