Dear KI community members,

We received a lot of questions and requests from you about where to buy our brand merch. So far, we had a couple of limited prints that were not for sale.

Now the Kyiv Independent is partnering with Saint Javelin, the team behind the iconic symbol of Ukraine’s resistance and a social enterprise that donated over $2 million to Ukraine. Together, we are launching a merch collection.

The collection features Archangel Michael, the protector and one of the main symbols of Kyiv. It also includes our first official brand merch. It will be available exclusively on the Saint Javelin website for a limited time.

But it’s not the only good news we have to share. Our community members are eligible for a 10% discount for all Saint Javelin products, including our partner collection. Copy the KYIVINDEPT_10%SLAVAUA code and use it at the checkout page.

All proceeds raised from this collection will be donated to Hospitallers, a Ukrainian volunteer organization of paramedics who save lives at the front line of Russia’s war.

Thank you! I'm having trouble getting the discount code to work. Any ideas?

Thank you ❤️. They look lovely!

Oh I was not expecting a discount. Thank you for providing that! Personally, I won't use the discount code when I get paid next week. I prefer that much more go to helping.

Discount code didn't work but who cares?! Can't be tight on such things

Lenah Hedin

Thanks ever so much, wont use the discount though but nice thought.

Jim James

Yes I won’t be using the discount code either.

I shared the link on my social channels - if we all do that then perhaps that will help a little with awareness.

Just in time for Christmas..I’m in!!!

Thank you for your courageous reporting

Can't wait to get paid so I can buy some merch <3

Adam Renfro

I just ordered some stickers for the family. All the best there!

Ordered a long sleeve shirt to start - one idea is to make the Zelensky shirt …the one with the Ukraine symbol. As much as I like the figure from the church I wouldn’t wear it. The Ukraine symbol has become an icon for bravery, humility and humanity. I suspect many would be proud to wear it.
