Dear Kyiv Independent community members,

Thank you to those who sent in suggestions for our next event – one topic that was often requested was Ukraine’s government and how it functions during the war.

Join us on Thursday, Aug. 3, for a discussion with senior editor Oleksiy Sorokin and editor-in-chief Olga Rudenko about Ukrainian politics, Zelensky’s government and its political opponents, and how the country’s leaders have kept the government running in wartime.

Register to the event and submit your questions here: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_85LiVEelR6WPEuUQZkMElQ

After registering, you will immediately receive the meeting information and automatically be sent a one-hour reminder.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 3, at 8 p.m. Kyiv time (1 p.m. EDT).

Hope to see you there!

People in Donbas supported Putin and voted for pro-Russian politicians, but Putin blew up almost all the houses in Donbas. The invasion of Putin is the Donbas citizens' fault. The citizens of Donbass are really idiots. I'm learning Ukrainian but I will ignore Russian and I boycott all GOP states of U.S. and Donbas. E.g. I will never go to Florida or Donbas, and I will never make any friend who lives in Florida or Donbas.
