Learn Ukrainian: Free language lessons for the Kyiv Independent community (Patreon)

Dear Kyiv Independent community members,

We are launching a new benefit for our members! Starting this month, we’ll be offering free Ukrainian language lessons to the Kyiv Independent community.

We’ve heard from you that there is interest in Ukrainian culture and visiting Ukraine – and that some of you are already learning the language. We want to help you reach your goals!

The courses will be taught by Vitalii, a Ukrainian language teacher. The first lesson is planned for Tuesday, March 19.

Here’s a few words from Vitalii to the community:

Hi there, I’m Vitalii and I’m originally from Ukraine’s central Poltava Oblast. I graduated from one of the best universities in Ukraine (in my opinion, of course), the Ivan Franko Lviv National University, where I studied International Relations. I have been working as a teacher for several years but I still know what it feels like to be a student — I’m currently learning Japanese! I look forward to meeting all the supporters of the Kyiv Independent who share my love for the Ukrainian language!
