I really like the idea of lingering damage. Don’t want our opponents and enemies to shake things off 😠.

i think that mantle dragon breath synergises with our curent build to a frankly ridiculous degree which is to build up the power of our body/spirit. And the spell pulls from the entire body which should help build energy/mana without damaging the spirit in any way (as it was stated even a faled release only causes the mana to disipate which can be use in training the spell and training to condense mana more while in all situations)

yeah its between the haymaker of mantle vs the lingering kelp breath for me. It doesn't take advantage of his full gates as well but it does work well with a lot of his other spells, and i think the cavern spell might be able to boost it.
