I like that the Office of Legal Transference could potentially give the hag more choice in the sort of body she could get placed in. I know that bodies in this world can more readily by modified and improved than in our world, but it might be nice for her to have a say in the way the body starts out. This does make me have three questions: if Kene were to have children, are they at risk of becoming hags? What about if the hag decides to have children? Would that risk change after this soul separation process is successful? I don’t want to interfere with a being’s desire to give birth, but I would feel terrible if another child was forced to live with the kind of despair that Kene did before he met Malachi. I doubt there’s much we could justifiably do to stop her, but maybe we could make her promise to help any potential hag child go through the same process as Kene? Or maybe she could have her legacy altered in the Sepulcher?

The corpselight lab sounds metal as hell. One of his experiments was apparently trying to grind up human souls to make something like Dawn. Just seems like the one with the highest likelyhood of esoteric soul stuff and i'm down for it. Though the cemetery and obsidian wood are also both pretty cool. Fine with any of the options

I believe Kene’s kids would still be at risk? As they said their family line itself all had the chance of developing this legacy, so their sister’s kids could also be at risk. Idk if the hag can even have kids in the first place?

I’m assuming if she gets her own body or, god forbid, consumes Kene, she could have biological children if she wanted. That’s why I want to know. Given that as far as I know, all hags are born through soul consumption, I wonder if the risk of having a child at risk of turning into a hag goes up if the hag has her own body. And if the risk goes up, is it an increase on the order of a person with bipolar disorder having children with bipolar disorder or is it like the risk of passing on Huntington’s disease?

Lola

I like choices 1 and 3 since they are 2 of the 3 choices that let us be involved with the eggs and because Kene seemed disgusted by the flesh sculptor option.

I like the narrative plotline of route 2. So up to a lab which purpose it to fix false ascensions with a turtle that just fixed a false ascension

If Kene, or any of their siblings (Like Kendra), has a child as they are now, they're at risk of passing along some of the curse. It doesn't strike every generation or anything like that, but it can happen. Kene's family has one pop up every two or three generations. If Kene managed to remove the hag completely... Then who knows? While what they're doing isn't completely unheard of across all of history, it's strange and rare enough that it's hard to make good guesses. As for any children the hag had after being separated (or if she consumed Kene), then they'd have a very high likelihood of being converted as well.

So with heritable gifts or legacies, the heritable unit isn’t a gene or a chromosome, but an element of the soul. Cool, but also somewhat unfortunate in this case since I don’t know if they have the equivalent to genetic screening for curses or the ability to select for gametes that don’t bear the curse. Or, maybe the hag would want children more likely to convert into hags…

Route 1 lets us meet the Headsman, who we know knows an oracle. I feel like mystical guidance for the current route is huge
