One things about Harry not telling the profesors about hearing voices, yes its a bit of a plot devise, but also remember Harry comes from an abusive household, so it's very hard for him to ask for help from grown ups

In the scene where Lucious and Arthur are sparring off...in the book...Arthur tackled Lucious and tried to beat the shit out of him. I'm sad we didn't see here. The disgust the two have for each other is undertold in these movies. THEY HAAAATE each other!

I wonder how much you understood about Dobby, since it is not explained all that well in the movie. The houseelves enslavement is magical. Houseelves are magically bound to never expose any information about the family they serve. They are forced by spells to punish themselves if they disobey or disrespect their masters. Dobby is physically fighting this the whole movie. He cant give up any specifics and his body is betraying him, when he tries to tell Harry something.
