I think to understand where dany is at in this one you have to remember how much and who she has lost. She lost two of her dragons, Jorah, Jon is rejecting her romantically now that he knows they’re related, and the last thing missande told her was dracarys. Burn them. She’s grieving and that comes out as rage. It’s not right, obviously, and it is a heartbreaking turn for a character we all rooted for *insert Tyra banks meme here*. I was a dany fan from ep 1, and I didn’t hate the choice they made for the character, even tho many would disagree. I just wish it didn’t feel as rushed. I think we needed to be in danys grief with her more. I wish they had spent more time in the season (like double the episodes) because it seems like such a sudden turn, but I think they just had a certain amount of events and only so much to show it all.

Yeah, this is a hard one to watch🥺 I do understand Dany though, she has wanted the iron throne since her brother died. And when you think of her grief after losing so many loved ones. She wanted to kill anyone who followed Cersei, also innocents. And she’s her father’s daughter, and he went crazy and said burn them all. She’s become The Mad Queen, unfortunately, but I kinda expected that. Looking forwards to the last episode🥰

I have opinions on this episode, but when I divorce myself from the books, I enjoy the episode more. I was very disappointed that they chose to go the route they did, but since they kept out big major players in the books, i guess this was the easiest way out so they could just dump this IP to work on Star Wars. ANYWAY!!!! (I’m glad that this cost them the Star Wars gig.) I do like quite a bit of this episode, but again, I have opinions. :)
