This episode!!!! And it dropped for us on...Tuesday! This is another one of those eps that runs the gamut of what Supernatural is about - you've got the humor, the mystery, the scares, but on top of it all, you have the love of family and the utter pain of losing that. Just a masterpiece.

This one really puts you on a rollercoaster of emotions, you go through every single one of them, and it is widely regarded as one of the best episodes of the whole show. It literally has everything. And hey, we get to see that damn Trickster again. So what do you think? Why is he so interested in the boys? Is he here to help them or is he a big bad? Why does he care so much? This whole season is so intense, I am so glad you guys are enjoying it as much as the rest of us.

I was wondering if you boys would clock the Trickster's funky theme song music. I remember when I first watched this episode, I instantly recalled his tune, it's so memorable. But that's fine, because while the reveal is strong, it's not really about that. But rather how trying to save Dean could lead to ruin for Sam. This is in my top 10 episodes for the show.

This is a tricky episode and I like how writers did this and also played with us because there was whole time that nagging thought that even getting from the loop, would it really mean that Dean had to die. So scary for first time watching, bit easier next time around. Loved you shocked faces.

UGH. I love when they give us a Sam POV episode since most are heavily from Dean's perspective as he tries to be support to the "Chosen One" so to speak. What's wild is that Sam already got a starter to what things might be like. Even if it's "reversed", Sam was still traumatized and has chosen to keep it inside. While Dean keeps things in, of course, Sam is the MVP of bottling his emotions to the point nobody even knows his hurts. Dean's hurt usually comes out in punches and yelling so it's rarely bottled. Not communicated, no, but DEFINITELY LOUD hahah

Richard Speight Jr, who plays the Trickster, directs a number of episodes in later seasons, plus several in the last few seasons of 'Lucifer'. He also co-hosts some of the Creation Cons. He's a hoot both as the Trickster and iRL.
