One of my favs as well! The budding bromance! Maze finding her calling and helping Linda accept. On top of a huge exciting arc!

Maze being so excited to share with her friend that she found a job has always been so sweet to me given where she starte din S1 I genuinely think Maze loves and respects the humans more than anyone else (Amenadiel and Lucifer like them but can still be shortsighted/selfish)

The exchange between Maze and Linda near the end of the episode is one of my favorites in the whole series! So many walls breaking down between so many characters in this one. Love.

I love the way Chloe hugged Luci at the end and he thought he had made her cry but didn't understand the reason. Luci looked uneasy but then relaxed into the hug... as Amanda Grace said- so many walls breaking down. BTW love how you are getting these out to us so quickly and thank you, guys, much appreciated.

I feel like this season is the one that really sets up one of the core themes of the show, which is redemption. Being semi in the fandom, when the show first aired, I always found it interesting just how many self professed Christians really loved the show and used it as a jumping off point for discussions about their own faith. Of course there was a smallish faction that also campaigned to get the show cancelled, because they thought people were going to start literally worshipping the devil, but the majority did understand that one of the ideas being presented was "Could someone as historically 'evil' as the Devil truly change and be redeemed". It lead to some fantastic discussions at the time. Heck even publications like the National Catholic Reporter were praising the show. Who knew a show about the literal devil could lead to such positive discourse, clearly the show knew what it was doing.

That's really interesting. I didn't think about what the show would do from that angle. I'd be interested in looking into that once we've finished the series.

Project Senpai

That was such a sweet moment! I got the butterflies watching that scene.

Project Senpai

Right!! I love these characters and its interactions like that, that make this series so good!

Project Senpai

Completely agree! I love that we got to see that side of Maze. She's such a badass character and to see these other moments of her is so welcomed.

Project Senpai

This was a really strong episode for that! We want more of this please.

John Deckder is played by Maze's RL husband. They have a son who was born beginning of S3 (Maze will be missing for a few eps).

Turtle2002

Maze is an amazing character and she builds relationships with everyone.
