Did you notice that "crime fighting devil" bit that Lucifer plays on the bass is actually the notes to the opening theme song? :D I must admit as well that when I first watched this episode I was not initially onboard with the whole Candy Morningstar thing. I felt like regardless of how much Lucifer felt hurt it was still a step too far in terms of his character growth. But then you had the ending reveal and I was like 'damn, I should have known better than to not trust this show's writing'. That's one of the things that I do love about the show, and it reminds me of the writing on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in a way - every episode, even the ones you might not think are the best, they all have something great about them.

No way, didn't pick up on that. I felt the same about Candy at first. It did seem a little too extreme, even for Lucifer but we obviously find out what happened at the end so I was cool with it haha

Just a quick question- are you further ahead with Lucifer much on higher tiers? I have been considering moving up to be watching as you watch, rather than a few weeks behind if that is the case?

Hi Celia, yes, the highest tier is 4-5 episodes ahead, today, Sunday, Sept 20, I was emailed S.3 E.1 reaction. They are only accessible via the email link until the full issue shows within the collections link. It also seems that likes and comments given on the advanced viewing do not transfer to the “regularly scheduled” episode on PS’s Patreon page.
