This episode was so sad on several levels. There were a lot of people lost in the walker attacks. Poor Patrick. Lizzie & Mika became orphans & are so young to have to be dealing with that let alone trying to use a knife on their Dad to stop him from turning. I understand why Carol would want to teach them to take care of themselves especially after Carol lost her daughter but it’s heartbreaking to see them have this kind of childhood. I felt so bad for Tyreese when he found the burnt bodies. I can’t even imagine how he’s going to deal with this & who the heck burned them? Finally, watching while Rick struggled with using his gun & thinking he had made mistakes while being the leader was difficult. He actually did the right thing by stepping back as leader because he needed to deal with his personal stuff like Lori’s death, Shane’s death etc. Not everyone would be capable of giving up the leadership like that but it shows what a great man Rick is. He became a farmer & I think he was hoping he could just be a regular guy, doing regular jobs (i.e. growing crops, looking after livestock etc.) with no serious life or death decisions having to be made but, as we all know, the way this world is now will not allow a person to do that. By the end of the episode Rick is dragged back to realizing he needs to use his gun & he’s not going to be able to be Farmer Rick anymore. Way too sad😔

Please no spoilers. It's cruel to even hint at ruining this for someone who hasn't seen it before. Also, yeah. I get it.
