When I originally saw this episode I was surprised when Carol turned out to be the killer. I had no clue. I can understand that she’d want to protect everyone but killing Karen & David, I think, was too far. She murdered them on the chance that the illness wouldn’t spread & I know there’ll be some people who’ll say it was worth that chance but the problem with that thinking is the virus is not just contained in their bodies. David & Karen were coughing before being quarantined so those cough droplets would be all over the prison plus on their hands which would be on everything they touched. Also, Patrick died from the virus so everywhere he went in the prison could be contaminated & we still don’t really know where the virus is coming from - i.e. the pigs or the birds or the water or just the air. This makes the murders even sadder because they were done for nothing. I absolutely love Hershel!!🩷He’s amazing & his “speeches” just keep getting better & better. Thank you for your great reactions.

Agreed! Her motives were right, but her actions probably not so. Such a tough episode.
