I swear, the level of stress in this episode was absolutely insane. First time I watched it, I didn't breathe for 20 minutes, just sat there and stared at everything falling apart all around them. It's so intense, isn't it? And then, we think for a few, precious moments, that everything is actually quiet, Rick has a new found respect for his son, Glenn is getting better, thank the gods, and sure, Daryl still doesn't know about Carol, and that's gonna be horrible for him, but at least, we can breathe, for a few, precious moments..... and then, we see the Governor! Because we can't have good things, can we?

This was definitely Hershel's episode. But I feel the same way about Dr. S. Poor guy. So many of these side characters deserve more screen time, but I guess there just isn't enough time to do a deep dive into everyone. Amazing episode. I'm so proud of Rick for acknowledging the strength in Carl, and also for accepting his help. A seriously wild episode. One for the history books in all of television, in my book.
