Very excited for the next episode honestly one of the scenes in this episode is super good from a rewatch POV too, I'm not sure I picked up on what it put down before

Season 3 has been killer so far. We've had a great time with it.

Yeah this is one of the things I had an issue with in Season 3, and that's characters like Ella suddenly becoming not as insightful as previously shown by completely misinterpreting stuff like "Marcus Pierce totally wants to bang Chloe" when absolutely nothing we've seen should lead her to that conclusion. Although I do love the end when Amenadiel reminds Lucifer of who he actually is, he punishes evil he is not actually evil.

This was Tom Ellis's break out role. Prior to that he'd played Gary Preston in a BBC One Sitcom show, and had small roles in shows like the comedy drama 'No Angels', and fantasy series like Doctor Who and Merlin. He also appeared in the Catherine Tate sketch show, East Enders and Holby City. I think in his early career he became known as more of a comedian, which I think is also why he's so good in the Lucifer role, because he does have such good comedic timing which is often a paradoxical advantage to playing more dramatic roles.

There's something upcoming with a duo and I can't wait for you to get there

It does elude to Ella’s broken picker though. I’m probably trying to justify it. Honestly it is pretty cringe.

Just binged all your reactions to this and now I'm caught up! So excited for your reactions to this season as it is my absolute fav in the show!

Amye Sabin

He's great as Gary in 'Miranda'. He's currently starring in 'CIA' on CBS. He was also in 'Monday, Monday' which lasted only one season. It's a British show I found on YouTube, but I don't know what network it originally aired on.

S. 3 is my favorite also! I always scoff at the complainers that it is too long with too many filler episodes. Except where some are placed in the season storyline, I enjoyed them all.

In case you guys didn't fully get the final scene where Lucifer scathingly insults Amenadiel, allow me to explain: Basically Lucifer felt extremely insulted because what Amenadiel said about him changing might have been somewhat patronizing and insinuated that he waqs worse before and now that he is changing into a less devilish being, he is now better. It's as if it's subtly impying that "When you were the Devil you were bad, you were inferior, not ideal.. But now that you're not so devilish and are now acting for good you are better, you are ideal. You were devolved before and now you are evolved" Since Lucifer really wanted to be proud of who he was when forced to be the rebelious angel who ruled Hell and defied his father, him acting this way and feeling good somewhat undermines what he did before and implies that he was truly wrong all along.
