Should we expect more Apothecary Diaries this weekend? 👀

I agree with ange about somes episodes being “ not necessary” in a way that doesn’t add nothing new, but hxh is my favorite anime and I can’t wait for both of you see the peak of these arc! At least with me , it was an anime that grew on me the more the time passed and those episodes my mind just forgot and kept the peak moments of these arc that I have watch countless times Either way, keep up the good work , big hug from Portugal!🇵🇹

Im just glad you are reacting to multiple episodes at once, because as you said : this Arc is on the longwinded side.. but the peak moments are most impressive and coming up! And some twists.. few twists actually:)

I don't agree. While it is true that some episodes are slower than others, watching two episodes at a time makes forget alot in the discussion part from the first episode.

Also just wanted to point out that when the hunters first encountered youpi he viewed them as ants (pun intended:p) or not worth anything as shown when he walked by shoot without killing him, but as he was more impressed by them and how profound nen is he gained respect for humans for the first time and viewed them as his equal, that's why he said to morel that it's only fitting that I make sure to kill you

Francisco Stamp

Yeah, I get where are you coming from. I think that in this arc are some moments that are maybe 1 or 2 minutes longer that should be. It isn't a lot, but when in a episode more than of those happen, it's noticeable. Guess it's sometimes done so that the episodes end in a cliffhanger.

Sydonis

Fully agree with Ange, some people are coping hard witch chimera ant arc, yes the peaks are some of the best in anime and overall it is a very strong arc, but it gets a little too self indulgent at times, with over reliance on narrator and the pacing suffers as a result. There is a reason why "show don't tell" is a rule in audiovisual media. There are sections that just drop the quality bar and Yorknew was a more balanced experience.

GS

Hard to have a discussion without the full context. You'll probably feel different once this arc is over. But it's true. Some portions of this arc feel like they get in the way of emotional momentum that is being built elsewhere in one of the multiple storylines.

Moncana4

So, I think the best and simplest way to put it is that after seeing the payoffs, the buildup is a lot more understandable. That being said, yes the pacing is not the best in the moment, but I know at least for me, I still thoroughly enjoyed the arc as a whole and look back on it fondly

Demon Slayer is out! Please react to it on YT😩 !!!!!

Youpi's growth came out of nowhere but makes so much sense. He's the Warrior of the guards and He faced some warriors that made him grow, he has nothing but respect for them. His natural instinct is to kill whoever threatens the King but these Warriors earned his respect and made him overcome his natural instinct. Crazy unexpected growth.

gee

the ppl who actually think the slower moments are worth it have finished the arc and know the payoffs so you rlly will only understand once you finish. i think the focus on the smaller lesser ants like welfin, bravoda, even ikalgo bore a lot of ppl but trusttt me it pays off and the reason there's more focus is bc they're barely shown before the fight starts. and i think the change of pacing creates anticipation for the peaks of the arc that much higher and increases satisfaction..at least to me
